Stepping into this spot, I was ready for some serious comfort food, and it did not disappoint. The loaded fries were a feast for the eyes and the stomach. They came with a generous helping of tender, juicy pork that was seasoned with a smoky Cajun blend. The sauce was tasty and there were even some fresh tomatoes and delicious, crumbly cotija cheese on top. The portion was huge—definitely enough to share (if you're feeling generous!). But the star of the show was the Phattie burger. It was everything a good burger should be: juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It had a flawless sear on the outside, and the inside was a beautiful medium with just the right amount of pink. I went on Sunday 5/4 around 12:45PM. I got a burger and a coke. The coke was a canned coke (didn’t bother me, just making people aware for those who don’t like cans). The burger was pretty good - 8/10. The first two bites didn’t have much flavor, but the rest did. Probably how the seasons were mixed in. However, $15.00 for just a burger, no matter how good, is pretty steep. I am very surprised that there was no fries or chips with it for that price. Came here on a Tuesday and they were having a great Taco Tuesday sale. Fantastic flavor and great portion sizing. Very good deal. We came back to try their burgers and were not disappointed. Both the turkey burger and the beef burger were perfectly made and delicious. We also had the phuppies which were probably the best hush puppies we’ve had in a while and the butter was great. We were greeted by a lovely gentlemen, who we assume is the owner, both times and he was phenomenal in ensuring our experience was great. You can tell he takes pride in the food he serves.
