This Pizza Sucks Not sure why the good reviews. This is not a good pizza. If you want a small pizza on a large crust this is for you. I went here 2 years ago and they were bad then, took another chance for the convenience and still bad. Di puts toppings in the middle of the pizza and leaves the 2/3 surface area around the outside empty. You can see the pattern with other people posting why is this so great? Here is my pizza what a mess It was not good. Go anywhere else to get a better pizza because these are not any good. Look closely at the pizza slices and imagine eating one. At the most only the center part will have ingredients and that is at most 1/3 of the whole slice. After a few bites you are eating crust with some sauce. Also she leaves the door open so not sure how she keeps the flies out. They are probably snacking all over the place in that kitchen.

About 5 years ago, My son and I were waiting for the Toob shuttle to pick us up and we had been craving BBQ for lunch. It was then that we caught the delicious smell of pizza in the air and we immediately had to have some! We called my wife and she found Di’s Pizza on the map and, as it turns out, it was Di’s that we had been smelling. Since that day, we always get one of Di’s pizzas (and sometimes one extra to take home) and they are THE BEST pizza we’ve ever had. I’m not a big marinara guy, but this is spectacular. Dip the crust into it or order some cheesy breadsticks and you’ll thank me. We like to eat the pizza in Landa Park, sitting on the banks of the Comal, and it’s the best way to enjoy a day trip to New Braunfels. The pizza takes time, as it should, but the wait is worth it. Call ahead and pick it up when you drop off your toobs!

So the best pizza in New Braunfels is right across the street from Shlitterbahn. Oh come on, that is GREAT! Have fun in the water and then enjoy some amazing pizza! Di herself is such a gem!!!! And I hope she owns the motel attached as well, because that has to be a smart investment!! They’re closed on Tuesdays and my husband and I were forced to try a different place and after doing so, we honestly just could not wait to have Di’s pizza again. The pizza we had left us still very hungry. We wanted meatlovers and it just didn’t hit the mark the way Di’s does! You’ll pick up your slice, and the meat is falling off her pizza. Don’t sell yourself short! GET DI’s. Mondays and Tuesdays just aren’t take out pizza nights for us ANYMORE:)

Things to know up front, they only have 1 size of everything. Their pizza is about the size of a large or XL at most other places. And the price is a little more than some of their competitors in town. They are basically a pick-up/delivery place. There are no tables/seats inside to eat. They have a few places outside for customers to eat though. As a woman, it is important to me that Di's is the only restaurant owned by a woman in New Braunfels, so I try to support them as much as I can.

All that being said they have quality crust and toppings and their cheesy breadsticks are huge and fabulous. They deliver all over New Braunfels and the food is still hot/cold when it arrives. The delivery man, John - Di's husband, is one of my favorite people. He is just the sweetest and always gives me a hug when he sees me. If you haven't tried this wonderful little townie spot, I highly recommend you do. Tell Di and John hello for Missy...

I read the Google reviews and was hopefully to get a really good pizza figuring hey I'm paying almost $20 bucks for a good pie. I ordered 3 pies - A Supreme - A Bridgette Hawaiian - A Pepperoni/Ham/Sausage. The customer service was good and the pizza came quick with hot boxes. Here's were it went down hill quickly. The Supreme was covered with soggy toppings that were bland and flavorless. They really skimped on the cheese which for a 16 inch is a mortal sin. The Brodgette Hawaiian toppings were all centered in the middle and not evenly distributed. Again skimped on cheese. The 3 meat Pepperoni/Ham/Sausage pizza was undercooked and lacked cheese. All three pizzas were slightly under cooked. Very disappointed in skimping on the cheese, under cooked, toppings quality and lack of proper distribution. Finally the bland crust. I'm sorry if I'm paying close to $20 a pizza I'm going...

My husband and I decided to try Di's based off of the 4.6 stars on Google and we were not disappointed in the slightest! We have already ordered delivery from Di's at least 5 more times. The pizza is amazing... from the delicious sauce to the fresh toppings. We have not had a single complaint about quality or taste. This is our go to place for take out and delivery pizza in New Braunfels from now on. Not to mention that the breadsticks are really great with the marinara sauce and you can't beat that!

We have had the same delivery guy each time and he is the perfect person for the job... you can truly tell he loves his job. He always thanks us multiple times for supporting Di's as a local, family owned business and always has a smile on his face. Even if the pizza wasn't great (which is IS) I would still order because of the customer service.

Try this place and you will...
