P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in New Braunfels

I recently had the pleasure of dining at P.F. Chang's, and I must say, our experience was made exceptional thanks to our waitress, Abbey. From the moment we arrived, Abbey greeted us with a genuine smile that set the tone for a warm and pleasant evening. Her friendly, upbeat energy immediately made us feel at ease, and she took the time to ensure we were comfortably seated. It's rare to come across service that makes you feel both special and well taken care of, but Abbey did just that.

Throughout the meal, Abbey was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. She managed that perfect balance of checking in frequently enough to meet our needs while giving us space to enjoy our meal and conversation. Every time she approached our table, it was with the same positive attitude, always asking if there was anything else we might need or if she could do anything to enhance our experience. Little touches like consistently refilling our drinks without having to be asked showed her attentiveness and professionalism.

One of the standout moments of the evening was when we were having trouble deciding on what to order. Abbey had fantastic knowledge of the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. She was able to guide us toward dishes that were both delicious and exactly what we were looking for. Her suggestions were spot-on, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying every bite, thanks to her guidance. It was clear that Abbey not only knew the menu well but also cared about making sure we had a memorable dining experience.

Abbey’s attention to detail extended beyond just the food. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, whether it was bringing out extra napkins, checking if we needed more condiments, or adjusting the pace of the meal based on how we were enjoying each course. Her proactive approach made the entire evening feel seamless and stress-free. We could focus on enjoying the food and each other's company without having to worry about any of the small details, as Abbey had it all under control.

Finally, I’d like to mention Abbey’s professionalism. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, she never seemed rushed or overwhelmed. Her calm, collected demeanor and her ability to manage multiple tables with ease was impressive. Despite juggling a full section, she made us feel like we were her only table, giving us her full attention whenever she interacted with us. It's clear that Abbey is a skilled and passionate server who takes pride in her work. She truly elevated our dining experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone visiting P.F. Chang’s.

12/21/24 We had an amazing lunch at P.F. Chang’s and an even better time enjoying it with family! The restaurant was clean, inviting, and brighter than other locations we’ve visited, which was a refreshing change. We were also excited to see they served Disaronno Amaretto, so we kicked things off with two Coke Zeros and two shots of Amaretto—such a fun and unexpected treat!

For appetizers, we indulged in the pan-fried dumplings, and for our entrees, we tried the Mongolian Beef, Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Sweet Crispy Honey Chicken, and Pepper Steak. These were paired with white rice and beef fried rice. Every single dish was packed with incredible flavor, cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous enough to satisfy everyone.

Our server, Isaiah, was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. The service was flawless, and Isaiah’s warm demeanor made the entire experience even better.

We can’t wait to return to this location—it was truly a fantastic dining experience from start to finish! Highly recommend!

12.14.24 We had a great lunch at P.F. Chang’s! The restaurant was nicely kept and surprisingly well-lit compared to other locations we’ve visited, which was a pleasant change. What is the problem with youth. Sat down at the bar area. Sat there waiting on the beer tender for about 5-6 minutes while she carried on a conversation with I presume friends. That must be why customers are not as important. Finally got service. (If you can call it that) I think there was better attraction on her cell phone. We were neglected the entire time except for the times I had to get her attention. I attached a photo. After our order came I requested soy sauce. The food server just walked away. I thought to get some for us. She later was walking by with another order. I asked if we could still some soy sauce. She rolled her eye so obviously I could see she didn't want to get it.

I'm not a big fast food fan I prefer restaurant quality and relaxing sit down atmosphere. I chose PF Chang's and didn't really get what I expected. Food is changing in a little less quality. I used to get the lettuce wraps but the last few times I have been in, I have been less satisfied each time. Didn't even order them this time.

I ordered pepper steak. I was surprised how good it was. A+ for this one.
