The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in New Braunfels

Mixed feelings. Have gone in twice recently. First pre-order (reserved a week in advance) - didn't have items assembled - waited 40 min in line & so they could cut up ham slices. I cooked the baked beans per instructions & beans seemed really undercooked/hard/raw. Ham slices yummy! 2nd pre-order - again, long wait 30-45 min, & again items not ready. All 4 sides were just ok (green beans, broccoli, apple slices, potatoes au gratin), but seemed crazy overpriced for what they were. They didn't have pre-ordered lunch salad or sandwich ready (they were pretty good, but not worth a long wait) , they were out of choc chip cookies I pre-ordered, and the substituted snickerdoodle cookies seemed undercooked/somewhat raw. My 12 & 14 year old kids who love cookies & consume almost anything didn't want to eat them!). BUT, the Half bone in ham & cheesecake were delicious! So, would definitely get ham & dessert cakes again, but no sides or lunch items. And you need to be ok with spending 30-45...

Absolutely the worst service ever…. The girl at the counter completely ignored me and told me to just put my stuff u front…. All she cared about was the paperwork she was working on…. I was the only customer in the entire store…she spent no time in helping me feel welcome while I made my purchase …. As soon as my dad came in she totally blew me off and tried to help him…. Once she realized we were together she began to be a rude and condescending….. it’s obvious that she had no people skills and she does not belong in the Christmas spirit ….The food here is quite pricey and will never be sold at its true potential with garbage workers like her….the manager tried to intervene but at that point it was to late….. the customer service was horrible… never coming here again … no matter how many...

The food is okay the mac and cheese is good. The sandwiches are great. I recently bought a family meal with ham and was super disappointed 1 lb is about 6 Slices for reference in case you buy 30 dollar meal thought was a good deal but only about 6 slices of ham one side and 4 rolls for that price so not the best deal the pics look like way more food the other thing I was super disappointed by was it's called honey baked ham co and the ham was glazed with nothing and they don't give you glaze either or at least they didn't give me any glaze I had to put my own I luckily already...
