Bobby's Burgers New Orleans — Restaurant in New Orleans

I went to Bobby's burgers today at 3 pm. I ordered a chicken sandwich and and a crunch burger. The total came up to $30. The chicken sandwich was dark like it was cooked in old grease or reheated and it didn't taste like it was cooked all the way through. The crunch burger was supposed to have lettuce and tomato added, no sauce and no chips. They gave me the burger with cheese and nothing else. I've had problems with my orders on several occasions. You can't contact anyone at Bobby's burgers. You have to go through Harrah's operator who then connects you to an answering machine. I think they don't have a direct number on the ticket so you can't contact them. Make sure you check your orders before you leave. I don't understand how you mess up an order with no other orders pending. This is ridiculous. Something...

I'll preface by saying New Orleans has a considerably high total sales tax around 10% right now. Factor in casino prices, and you're looking at an expensive meal. You can use your Caesars comp or points here which is helpful.

Anyhow, the service at this location is excellent. I visited a few times during my stay and interacted with various staff members. They're very kind, patient, and accomodating. I especially appreciated the free ice cold tap water which really helped on a hot day full of walking.

Food is what you'd expect for a burger joint. I enjoyed my meal! Fries are huge; two people can share one order. I rarely write reviews but this place was truly awful. I would never return and I would never recommend this place to anyone I actually liked. Not only was the food $46 for 2 burgers, an order of sweet potato fries and onion rings. We did not even get any drinks and with tip this was a $50 meal for 2. After getting the food we were so underwhelmed with the lack of flavor and how little food there was considering the price. We finished our food leaving dissatisfied and knew that we were never going to eat here again. I'm writing this review the morning after our meal and both my partner and I have had to fight for our lives in the bathroom so we're pretty sure we have food poisoning from this restaurant.
