We saw many great reviews online so we decided to give this place a try. We ended up having to wait 25 minutes in line outside to get in, which was no big deal. Once we sat down the waitress was very nice and took our orders, but as soon as that was over, the service changed drastically.

First we were asked to move tables after being seated for 5 minutes to a table right next to the bathroom door. A little annoying and inconvenient but no huge deal.

We waited for our cups of water for 20 minutes. 5 of those minutes were after our food arrived.

My wife's food arrived cold and was missing the sauce it comes with. We pointed this out and the waitress took it back to get warmed up. The waitress forgot about her food and we got it back after 15 minutes (they only microwaved it so it should take 2-5 minutes max). She brought the missing sauce as well.

When our check came, the waitress had added an extra fee for the sauce my wife's dish was supposed to come with. She told us the sauce doesn't come with the dish so I had to pull up the menu on my phone as proof. She took the charge off then.

We also pointed out that we never got our beignet sticks that we ordered for dessert, only to be told that she forgot to put them into the system. We were told it would take at least 20 more minutes to get them now so we decided to give up on the beignets.

Any time we pointed out anything that was missing, cold, wrongly charged for, or forgotten, we were treated in a dismissive and patronizing way by our waitress. After hearing what we had to say, she stormed away without saying a word multiple times.

The food was very meh, kind of bland. We had to add a lot of salt and pepper. We ordered the eggs ranchero and the dirty south bowl (and beignet sticks but never got them). Portions could be bigger for their price. We won't be going back.

Just seems like they don't really care about you as a customer and just want to make...

Don’t go to this place for breakfast absolutely the worst customer service and food was disgusting! When we sat down the waiter came over and I asked him if the mimosas were strong and if a new bottle would be used to make it. He said (why wouldn’t a new bottle be used to make it) We then order a carafe. I watched the bar tender fix the mimosa and sure enough she didn’t pop a new bottle!!! I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tasted it not only was it flat it had a bitter after taste. I then told our waiter that it was flat and i didn’t like it and he said he watched her pour from a new bottle which was a lie. Then my husband asked for banana pancakes and soft scramble eggs with cheese and there was no bananas in the pancakes and the eggs was brown and hard. The waiter apologized for not having the bananas in the pancakes said he wasn’t really sure he wanted it and said he should have made sure. I order a burger and i asked if they had raw onions verses grilled he told me he would check. He never came back out to tell me yes or no on that, he just brought the burger out with no onions. Then i asked him for the grilled onions and he brought out a cold cup of grilled onions. We then asked for the check and he had the nerve to leave on the Mimosa.... I then asked to speak to the manager but the female bar tender comes out and tells us, let me take this food out of your way. I proceeded to tell her all the issues we were having but she didn’t want to hear it and said she was only removing the drink but the food we would have to pay for. Which was fine by me but in reality the waiter super messed up my husband order and his meal should have not been charged! Poor customer service. Seem like because we were non white they could careless. My husband is a great tipper 20% to 30% depending on great service and good...

This is just amazing. The place looks small and that’s deceiving. You will never realise what you are missing out, unless you eat. We were in NOLA in a super busy weekend, just two days before the Mardi Gras. So you know, how busy and crowded the entire city was. We initially planned for a different place for our Sunday brunch. Remember, most of the casual brunch spots do not take table reservation. So when we actually hit the spot, it was too crowded. So we decided to move on. Again searched for some place nearby. The second place also disappointed us with the long queue. Then we randomly saw this one nearby, and the queue was little small. So we decided to stick to this place. We waited for about 30-40 minutes standing outside ( and the queue increased!). One lady started taking the drink ( alcoholic) from outside. There is menu posted outside, in case if you want to get ready. Next we got a table. The inside is very small with small tables ( four chairs). Very cozy, homely and artsy. Even though it was crowded there was no hurry. Nobody pushed us for any hurry or anything. We took our time, ordered and laid back and simply enjoyed the time. The food appeared. All of our foods were excellent. The portion sizes were very good, the prices we paid were really worth. All the ingredients were fresh and cooked to the perfection. The steaks and the gravy was the best so far I ate. The cucumber mojito was the best drink ever. The freshly squeezed orange juice was really fresh. The entire experience was good. I would highly recommend you this place if...

This restaurant is small (seating for 20-25) and its definitely a problem for them. I understand that they are a business and they need to make money, but it seems to be at the inconvenience of the customers who are willing to spend their money. The hostess sat our party at two different tables (which we were okay with) but proceeded to tell us she would ask us to leave if the guys parking the car (no parking for at least two or three blocks) did not come quickly. I asked if this was the case even if we ordered food and drinks..she said "YES", and threatened to get the owner who would say the same thing. Mind you this whole speech was given while we were being seated. Since the other members of the party did not come, before another incomplete party came... I kid you not, we we're asked to get up and let them sit down (we had already ordered drinks and appetizers). I'm not from New Orleans, I just assumed the food must be good as hell for this place to be highly recommended, and the hostess threatens to kick you out, and makes paying customers give up their seat. Three stars due to the nice and warm wait staff, and beautiful art work. Food was simply okay, presentation was great, but taste was just okay. Nothing I would pay for to be talked to or treated like that again.
