Pei Wei Asian Express — Restaurant in New Orleans

The food was pretty good at the Port of New Orleans #234 store on Sunday, November 27th 2016 some where around noon to 2pm I had superb, phenomenal assistance from one African American female whom I believe was a shift manager who had dread locks, BUT the cashier, the one ghetto, rude, disrespectful, trifling and embarrassingly unprofessional African American female who looked like Dave Chappelle had an attitude like she didn't even want to serve anybody or be at work today, like she was just there to be there for a paycheck and to go home without putting effort into her work. She's not the only one who works in this country, so that's no justfiable reason to be angry while ringing customers up for their orders, communicating with customers disrespectfully and when asked if you could grab the beverage cup lids without putting your fingers underneath after you touched contaminated things and people don't want the dirt from your fingers splish-splashing into their drinks, you should never get mad and refuse service to a customer who's paying more than $10 and who has a desire to patron the restaur you work at when there's also many more delicious restaurants surrounding. The manager had to come out to amend the ill mannered cashiers unprofessional behavior on refusing to service me all because I asked her to give me lid without putting her fingers underneath it and she was unapologetic the whole time. Rude staff, poor customer service and worst food!! We ordered 2 Veg Fried Rice and 4 spring rolls.. The lady at the counter put 2 spring rolls in the box and closed it, I said we asked for 4, she then said only two were left which she didn’t say at the time of ordering.. then when it came to the rice, she filled rice for half the box on the one with spring rolls and filled double the quantity in the other.. when we asked for hot sauce which wasn’t there on the counter, she passed rude comments and brought one from under the table!

Now, the food part: it was almost closing time but the fried rice in their box was full and untouched and seemed like we were the only one that ordered.. I don’t know if they will save it for the next day!! The rice was terribly undercooked and we could bite the raw rice! Spring rolls were rubbery and salty. I wish I could give something less...

Literally the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I was appalled by the staffs lack of customer service. Upon checking out, I asked the woman at the register for a soda. She took my card and before she ran it, I asked if the soda was for large to which she replied “you didn’t tell me” then she proceeded to swipe my credit card. I told her she should’ve asked me and then she told me that “ it wasn’t her job” and that I was responsible for telling her what size I wanted. I don’t know her name, but she was African American wearing a blonde wig pulled into a low bun on her head. While I waited for my soda, she continued to make rude comments under her breath.
