I feel like this place is stealing from people. Not in terms of their high prices, but literally through lying about what you will be charged. ~New Orleans sales tax is 10% but the tax on my receipt is over that. Tax should have been 1.63 but it was 2.08. ~The cashier blatantly lied to me after he gave me a large drink without asking, saying it was the same price with my combo, but then I was upcharged 60 cents for the large. And he literally didn't fill my cup all the way. ~I was also confused why lettuce/tomato/pickles are listed on the menu as free toppings for philly cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches but on my plain burger (no cheese) they each cost 60 cents.
After I paid, the cashier walked away without giving me a receipt. When he saw I was waiting he acted surprised. The receipt had printed automatically but he didn't seem happy that I wanted to see it.
I know this isn't a huge amount of money in the scheme of things, but if you find a way to ad around $2.50 to every order by lying and misleading your customers I'm sure it ads up pretty quickly. Obviously I did not have the time or energy to wait in line again just to ask for a partial refund. But why would a cashier lie like that to make the owner money? Please, make it make sense.

Cashier was distracted, guess I was supposed to help him do his job. He literally asked no questions, I just started asking for my order.
Got my order, walked off to sit and eat, only to realize the sandwich is black: there’s nothing but cheese, chicken and burned griddle residue.
The menu board shows ‘Free Toppings’ Lettuce, Tomatoes, etc. it wasn’t until I left I realized the sandwich was made with nothing else. Headed back to storefront to ask if toppings were included. I was told two different things. No by the lady finishing the order and yes Toppings are included but I have to ask for them by another lady from the back.
Dissatisfied with the look of the sandwich and not offering the toppings, I asked for a refund. I was told they don’t do refunds.
So you’re able to sell folks a sandwich with mostly griddle residue (cuz you’re not cleaning the griddle well or often enough) and not giving toppings despite the menu board stating they’re free, and the customers being dissatisfied you get to still keep the sale. Trash...
Read moreSaturday, May 28th. I had the pleasure to visit Greenleaf and Bannas Smoothie located in the Riverwalk in New Orleans. The cashier Jaya received my order, she was very friendly and professional. I ordered a banana berry smoothie. The smoothie was not sweet so I went back to inform them. Jaya the cashier went to the manager concerning the matter to see how she wanted to resolve it. At this point the manager Ms. Shantell greeted me and acknowledged my complaint she offered to remake it or give me a full refund. I opted out to get a remake. Ms. Shantell didn't stop there. To accommodate me she displayed excellent customer service and and customer satisfaction by offering me a 50% discount off any menu item of my choice from any one of the restaurants she managed that is located in the Riverwalk. I had the option to choose from one of the following restaurants.The SouthPhilly Steak and Fries or Greenleaf and bannas. I ordered wings and fries from South Philly,the wings and fries were prepared fresh. Ms Shantell went far and beyond to ensure great customer service. If you are in the the Riverwalk go and visit South Philly Steak and Fries. Awesome Job...
