4 Avenue Gourmet Deli & Grill — Restaurant in New York

I was looking for a place that I can get coffee and something to eat. I had just picked up my granddaughter from school so I brought her in with me. The place is so clean. I noticed it as soon as I opened the door to the place. Since the floor has (I believe) a carpet that looks like a light wood looking color to it, it's easy to notice if the floor was clean or not. It looked very clean, so I went in. Their coffee and food that they prepare doesn't just taste delicious, they make it with care and they use gloves to make sure that you don't leave from there with anything you didn't want, like salmonella or any other sickness. The are very friendly, courteous and have manners. I definitely recommend this place. P.S. This is personal but I feel it's important and I appreciate them so much for it. So, out of nowhere my granddaughter had to use the bathroom 🥴 Some owners, even today, won't let you use the bathroom and that's even when you purchase something. So, I asked and without hesitation I was told that my granddaughter and I could use the bathroom. They are great people. I love this place, but it depends on the cook on whether or not I’ll love my food. One cook treats the food with kindness and grade A details, the other cook burns my food and makes me want to give 1-2 stars instead of 3/4. I only tip one cook, guess which cook. And next time I go I’ll be taking a mental photo, because I’m not going when he’s there.

The best food in the area if you don't mind that they don't sell pork. Their ham isn't ham and I think their bacon is beef bacon but that's so minute you won't miss it. Everything is reasonably priced. You can get a cheeseburger and fries for 6$. I could eat hete for 3 months and still not get through their menu they're that good. And if you're in a nearby hotel and need a sandwich at 3am...
