Magnolias Floristry — Local services in New York

My father ordered flowers for my mother on Valentine’s Day when he was away on a trip. Owner’s husband “couldn’t deliver because he didn’t know what apartment to deliver to” which makes zero sense because we live in a HOUSE with one house number, one address. They refused to refund and never delivered the flowers. DO NOT give business to these SCAMMERS. — UPDATE we received these flowers only 20 mins after this fiery review was posted (4 days late). They claim they got the order on Sunday but still waited till after I posted this review to deliver. WOW! They were fully willing to take our money without honoring the delivery.

Her response below makes zero sense. What are the chances they deliver 20 mins after this review went up? Who conducts business at 7:40pm? Who accepts a cancelation but does not agree to a refund? My mother also received NO such call on Sunday. Why didn't you even try calling a second time? One attempt is not enough. This is bad and lazy business practice. I just hope they try harder for whoever tries to get flowers from them in...

This Flower shop outdid themselves!! I must come and write a review because they deserve a very very good one from me. I am in California and sadly our friends from New York just had a loss. We couldn't make it out there and we wanted to show a little of love to them. Flowers for their services was what I thought off. So many flower shops are around that area, I was very confused and I didn't know where to start. I looked at multiple flower shops. Some had no webpages nor many reviews. Some were also complicated to order. They have a very easy online checkout website , but I called to make sure it would be there on time. The lady I spoke with mentioned to me if I did it directly I could avoid some extra fees. That was very nice of her ! So I placed the order over the phone. The spray I choose , I thought it was small but I really liked it. When I received the picture from the family! I was like "wow "!!!! it was huge!! and I Loved IT !!!! They exceeded my expectations. Thank you Magnolias! ! Thank You !

The owner was SO kind and very knowledgeable of her plants. Her shop was sweet and small, packed with a wide variety of beautiful/healthy plants (literally, a little of everything!) she hand picks every Monday, and the prices are affordable and fair for a small business.

My visit to this shop has to be one of my best experiences of NY since I moved here from Minnesota two months ago. She even gave me a sweet little succulent as a welcome to the neighborhood; a small act of kindness that is pretty rare here compared to the Midwest. We will definitely be regular customers at this shop and look forward to...
