White House Loft — Local services in New York

The White House Loft is an incredible event space. It is huge and can be utilized in many ways. We used this space to host a bridal shower. The space is a neutral canvas, it’s comes with both lounge furniture, clear chiavari chairs, and tables for seating. It has a bar space with a fridge, shelves, and ice cooler. There is a designated station for food with chafing dishes. The DJ set up is equipped with two speakers and you would only need to provide a table for the DJ to set up. There is event staff that includes security, and front door host, and two additional staff members to help with any needs that may come up. Bathrooms are equipped with toilet paper and soap. The front of the venue has mask and sanitizer. There are so many offerings that are included and while some may not sound like much, if you are shopping for a venue you will understand why this is so amazing.

For our event, we used the lounge seating which is on one half of the venue. We wanted multiple spaces so that people could have mix and mingle. On the other half of the venue we had circle tables and chairs for our guest to be seated for dinner and activities. We still had the middle of the floor open for activities and some dancing. We were also still able to have a designated sections for an appetizer table, our photographer who was equipped with a photo backdrop, and a center stage with dessert table which is where our bride to be sat.

The venue owner is Ernestina and she is top tier with relationship management. She was available around the clock for communication from the moment I sent my inquiry. She had additional offerings that we leveraged like adding a champagne wall and using her design and decor service. We were able to provide Ernestina with a budget to manage the center stage set up end to end. She did a phenomenal job and most of can agree this is usually the highlight of any event space. Myself and the other bridesmaids were stacked against so many other elements on the day of and having Ernestina take care of this lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. She and her team took care of the center stage set up seamlessly, I didn’t ever have to check on her or ask any questions. I could see she had it under control and I felt completely assured.

In the end everything came together perfectly. The bride was thrilled and felt like everything was above any expectations she had. The guest raved about the entire event. They felt completely comfortable, safe, and accommodated in the space. The space truly came to life for our event. 5/5 stars for the space and the service. Thank you to Ernestina for everything!!

Words cannot even begin to describe just how amazing my experience with Ernestina and her venue White House Loft has been. I got married here on April 17, 2021. Well two weddings in one spot, my traditional Ghanaian wedding and my white wedding. Yes, it took me almost a year to write this but it’s only because I felt like I did not have the words to adequately express how extremely grateful I am to have come across her venue. I am very thankful to God. My cousin actually sent me the venue and I contacted Ernestina immediately and was speaking with her within minutes. Her personality brought me in to the spot but her venue and personality made me stay. I was looking for a loft, with open space and wide enough so that people could breath! haha I got married when the pandemic was still at peak numbers but tampering off, so it was Important for me to have people socially distanced and White House Loft did exactly that.

Ernestina, from day one, literally at any time of the day or even late into the night, whatever questions I had, she would answer. She gave me such comfort that I just told her a theme for my decor and she did above what I expected. I told her Springtime in Paris and she did even more than that. She put her whole self into ensuring that this decor and the venue was on point for my husband and I’s wedding, literally, she didn’t sleep. If you are looking for a venue and it’s owner that exudes love and would treat your event as if it is her own event, then this is it. I had no worries about the decor, I asked my husband what he thought and he loved it . Everyone thought the decor represented my thought process perfectly. With the price of the venue you get so much, literally everything you would need, food serving section, speakers for the DJ, bar, security, clean uppppp, yall my family and I did not have to clean a thing, love that for us. Everything was handled and we did not feel rushed to head out. She made sure I had everything I brought. Everyone who worked/helped on her staff that worked for our wedding was such a vibe! Literally, security was hyping me up the whole time lol. I really did enjoy my experience with White House Loft and I’m very thankful to God that I came across this venue.

I hosted my sisters surprise baby-shower here last week and it was AMAZING!! I had spent weeks looking for event spaces with ample space and an open vibe. I have a very big family so I needed something that would accommodate that. I also don’t like event spaces that make you feel trapped with minimal lighting. I came across The White House Loft in an instagram ad and I was surprised that a place like this excited, I was even more surprised when I saw it was in sunset park. I checked out their instagram and reached out to make an appointment to view the place. A close family friend went to view it and she was impressed by how clean and well kept the venue was. After this I proceeded with booking the venue. Ernestina was a huge help for me in this process. I would text her at anytime and she provided quick responses. I also hired Ernestina to help me with the decorations for the shower (tea party theme). On the day of the shower the space was clean, Ernestina had set up the tables and laid out the floor plan. Ernestina really helped my vision come alive with the main picture area! The shower was during brunch hours so the sunlight was coming through the sunroof windows and it looked so beautiful!! All my family and friends loved the venue!! They kept asking me how I found it because it is so beautiful!

Over all my event went smoothly! The staff, security and Ernestina were there for the whole event. The security did the appropriate checks at the door and the staff members upstairs were attentive and changed garbage bags when necessary. They were a pleasure to work with. Any question or concern they were ready to attend. At the end of my event we didn’t feel rushed to leave. When we were packing up to go the staff would point out any other items we brought so they wouldn’t be forgotten. Very nice people.
