I am only giving this a star so I can review it. This place is horrible. I was accused of larceny or stealing or putting a discount tag on an item. I did not have anything to do with the stores mistake of putting a discount tag on items. I simply asked if I could get the same item with the same date at the price. The person in charge said I put the sticker on the item . he said we have 46 cameras I can see it. I told him let's review the footage knowing i had done nothing wrong. He refused and would not give me his name. We both called the police and i filed a harassment complaint after he touched me pushing me out of the door after i purchased my items. I told him I would leave to watch the video and if he was wrong he had to apologize to me in front of the employees he embarrassed me in front of. He agreed with a hand shake as a man still not giving me his name. I spoke with the manager today and he told me it was some kid who put the sticker on the product. I am waiting to hear back from the store and him today. I will be returning the items and expecting the appropriate action be taken. Google people do not shop at the store 760 4th ave brooklyn NY unless you want to take the chance it could happen to you. I will update this review upon what takes place today. Please stand with me and boycott this store unless it does the right thing. I also have called corporate and email them with no response. Stay posted for my edit and please don't shop there until they do the right thing. Manager I spoke to today is Manuel Lopez. He is not the one who died the horrible and emotionally devastating things to me last night just who I spoke with today. Those hotdogs were taken off shelf by someone else not part of my purchase. I just happen to see them at the register while being embarrassed.so I went back and Lewis apologized for accusing me of doing anything wrong. Though it was embarrassing that's all I needed to make up for it. I don't nor did I want anything other than that. So its over with and I would say as a stand up place that will admit that a mistake was made you should continue to shop there and not boycott. Thank you...
Read moreNot really sure if you'd call it a full C-town Super Market. Items are inconsistent to never restocked (Used to have Kimchi and specialized Iced Coffee 'Black Bear' and Ginsang drinks, but haven't seen these items in months) and fruits and produce prices seem high as well as not in the best of conditions, especially the vegetables...
Don't come here thinking you'll get a full Super Market feel. It's convenient for the location and a very small market. "Fresh," isn't the priority, but nothing is bad here either. Go to 9th St between 4th and 5th Ave for a full sized C-town Super Market.
Staff is very friendly and it's never crowded... more of a neighborhood "Super Market," and will certainly get you what you need as long as it is basic items... Anything special or gourmet... look to other markets.
Small deli section with hot item take out food and sometimes Rotisserie cooked whole chicken. Deli hot items seem Spanish based and you can pick what you want. Deli specials as well weekly grocery item specials can be found here.
Narrow and tight aisles and conveniently right next to the 25th...
Read moreBeen going here on and off the past 2 years since it is right outside the R train stop. Buyer beware that the prices advertised on the shelves frequently do not match what they are scanned at on the register. Even if I go in to buy 5 or less items, at least 2 items do not scan at the sale price listed on the shelf. I always need to memorize the prices and correct them to the cashier. Even yesterday there were signs all over for shredded cheese and $2.59 and it scanned at $4.29. I don't know if this is on purpose or not to fool people into overpaying who aren't realizing, but it's been going on for a long time at this store and they need to be audited or something because whether they don't update their system or it's intentional, it makes it basically impossible to shop here. Customer servicer and food quality is fine overall but be very wary of "sale prices" on shelves, memorize prices or take pictures of the price on the shelf as you shop if you care about not...
