came to 7th Street Burger for a promotion and it was awesome as usual.

if you haven’t enjoyed a 7th St Burger + French fries and live in NYC, are you even living? 😂 it’s quite amazing how consistently good the burgers and fries at all the different 7th St Burger locations are…seriously, the quality never falls off! this new Upper East Side location has several tables if you want to dine-in, the modern 7th St interior aesthetic, and a simple menu like all locations. the location well-maintained and the staff seem to regularly tidying up the dining area or bathroom when not taking orders. ordered a double cheeseburger and fries to go. the wait isn’t too long even though burgers are made-to-order. the two smashed beef patties meld with the grilled onions, cheese, house sauce, pickles, and the Martin’s potato roll to make each bite as tasty as the prior one. don’t know how the patties get that well-done savoriness of a smash burger but also maintains the patties’ juiciness as the flavors runs through all the burger ingredients to make one heck of a double cheeseburger. don’t sleep on the French fries—always crispy with soft potatoey insides and just the right amount of seasoning. grabbed a Sprite to polish it all off. and as always, 7th Street Burger doesn’t disappoint. the burger and fries come out super hot and neatly package. high advise eating as soon as you can as that really is the best experience for a burger and fries.

My wife and I wanted to try some NYC smash burgers while visiting and had seen 7th Street Burger in TikTok + been recommended by some local friends who had never tried themselves but heard good things.

We each tried our own cheeseburger. They were well smashed (thin) patties and the melted american cheese was nice and gooey. The special sauce was only okay though. I’d eat one again for sure. Their onions could be sliced smaller or caramelized further too, if you don’t like onions or pickles be sure to order without.

We also tried the loaded fries which I was not expecting to have a literal smash patty on top of them. These were super filling but not...

Was told my food would take 15 minutes, but got my "burgers" after 30 minutes of waiting. Told the cashier that one of the meals was missing, and proceeded to wait 30 more minutes for the second missing burger to arrive. In the meantime, 15 full orders went out, and they couldn't take the time to fix one wrong order that had customers waiting for an hour. Inquiries about the status of my burger were met with rude responses and more waiting. Left after an hour with a cold burger and a bad taste in my mouth for how I was treated.
