STAY AWAY!!!BEYOND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! 30 mins wait for some chipotle bowl that doesn’t need to be cooked from scratch!!!??? I was the ONLY customer in the place, there was no reason to make me wait half an hour to throw a few ingredients in a bowl! Absolutely horrible service! The Easter European Manager is completely indifferent if something is wrong, and sarcastically smiles into your face, or will make you you call customer service, if you want to add another ingredient. They are quick to cancel your order after a very long wait and very slow on fixing anything and will make you feel that there something wrong with you, versus they super slow unreasonable service! They will waste your time and aggravate you instead of correcting anything at all. It’s beyond ridiculous!!!! Even in a reputable busy Michelin restaurant your food will arrive sooner! I walked in twice and twice was super disappointed, so obviously I will never walk into that place again. I am sorry to say, but NYC’s merciless competition will put this company, or definitely this upper east side location out of business super soon! THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE of TAKEN CARE of even ONE customer while the WHOLE Place is EMPTY. Now I know WHY it’s always EMPTY every time I stop by… Do me a favor, GO to BELA MI one block down for super amazing food, great friendly customer service and ZERO WAIT! WHAT A SHAMe employees are ruining what seemed to be a good concept! Go WONDER...
Read moreI've now tried Wonder twice - once on the UES and once on the UWS. I think the business has potential but they need to fix some things.
They only have two order kiosks, so a line builds up to place your order if you don't order ahead.
My biggest issue is the amount of time it takes for the food to be ready. I waited 30 minutes for a pasta dish. I was also pressed for time and said if the dish wasn't going to be ready within 5 minutes, I would need to leave and take a refund.
My order then finally appeared and was put into a bag that promptly ripped with the weight of two bottled drinks plus the food when I got onto the street.
Also this location seemed to attract alot of unsupervised kids and teenagers who were being loud and obnoxious. They also took up the minimal seating that was available even if only one person in their friend group was actually eating from Wonder.
If I wanted to pay $20 for pasta and wait 30 minutes for the food, I would just go to an actual restaurant to do so. I don't need to do take out from Wonder because it's not worth it at that cost and length of...
Read moreI took the bait from the mailer for 40% off my first two orders, and I was so surprised to see DiFara on the list of restaurants🤯 There’s no way they’re going to deliver all the way up to the UES within a half an hour! In fact, they were 2 minutes early. I don’t know how they did it, but they DID. The regular pie I ordered was freshly baked, still hot and heavenly! It arrived along with the Mac and cheese and chicken tenders I got for my toddler, and a can of Poppi in root beer, which seems to be staple items that’s offered with any restaurant. Totally worth skipping the hours long wait in line. I didn’t have to cook, and we had a special treat to cap off yet another tough week. I’m floored by Wonder! The app itself is clear cut and user friendly. Love the tracker interface.
