A Bar Brooklyn — Restaurant in New York

Nice bar with a cool wooden ceiling situation going on inside. The best bit was the big back yard with tables and chairs so you can sit outside and off the street.

Sadly there are a ton of weeds and leaves which makes the atmosphere not as great. Little bit strange is that there are some weeds that are growing as tall as small trees which is presumably choking the life out of the big tree in the back yard (and probably causing a lot of the leaves to fall) which will eventually end up with the tree dying and either needing to be cut down or fall down...... Cut...

A Bar, straddling the divide between Greenpoint and Williamsburg, where no one can agree on which of the two neighborhoods are you in but you just know you’re not in Manhattan. Very relaxed vibes, where people talk to each other and are polite. The staff’s on point and pours are generous. The backyard sitting area looked cute but we didn’t experience it due to snowy weather. Will go back again for another drink when I wanna strike up a conversation with a stranger about Global Political structure or...

Saw this bar on a website and thought it was like a secret hidden hipster spot. Looked poignantly old - too era-specific to be a dive bar, and the whiskey-root beer and charcuterie boards lent to that idea. However, this is a TOTAL dive bar, akin to something on the side of the road in Wisconsin than anything for your average millennial. If you like No Country for Old Men, this bar is your jam. If you think they’re gonna be playing Bob Iver, they’re not. They’re likely playing obscure emo...
