I tried many halal gyro carts in NY and Brooklyn. Halal Guys was on top of my list until i tried Albaik Express. My experience was completely astound. How can some one make a best than the best. On my first try i thought that this may be once in a blue moon but after trying again and again with chicken, kabab, combo, lamb gyro and falafel sandwiches, I concluded to review them as a token of appreciation to their hard work and guidance for new finders. They have the best taste and quality of the food they are selling. They perform all procedures, the most important is to make nice pieces of meat before spreading on bowl of rice or adding them into your sandwich. They perform appropriate mix of salads if you want everything. Bottom line, they know how to make it and this is now one of the best (i.e. 1st) food cart in NYC on MY list. After that I started working from home then about a year later I went to empty my desk at the workplace.. but I got to tell you for years that was my spot and I'm so glad that he's still there serving what I call one of the best lunch spots in all of South Street Seaport.. if you are a worker still in that area or a tourist... Read moreI have tried all the lamb, chicken, and fish over rice. My favourite is the chicken since it was so tasty and juicy. Besides that, I love its white sauce and the hot sauce is not too spicy. The price is reasonable and the portion is enough for lunch. The verdict is there is no halal certificate shown. Thus, overall this is my favourite food truck in lower Manhattan and it is better than the famous food truck around...
