Staff needs better customer service training. This ain’t the first time they messed up my order and didn’t apologize but I gave it another shot. I eat here often like a lot but I won’t be returning after this. I called in ordered some food for pick up I had the lady repeat my order before we hung up. I go and walk 10 blocks wait 45 minutes for my food I get home and she got my order wrong. Even on the receipt it was wrong she typed in the wrong order. So I call back and she admits she put the wrong order in. Not once did she apologize. I told her I would like my correct order and she said I’d have to come back to get it and I have to bring in the food I took home she said it 3x before I hung up. So no apology, making me wait over an hour for my correct order and absolutely no empathy for your mess up? I go back to get the food and she asks me for the messed up order I hand it to her and still no apology. Not once did I have an attitude with her even though I was upset. The day before this I order $74 worth of food. Over all bad customer service food is good but it’s hit or miss. Some days it’s good some days it isn’t you never know what your getting. I won’t be returning. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY WHEN...
Read moreWent there for the first time with a friend yesterday, we thought it was a dine-in restaurant but its actually a little take out spot with a few tables and chairs for outside dining. I found it to be pretty cool but unfortunately if it rains you can only get take out (not sure if they deliver). Also, if you're driving you probably wont even notice that it's there. The staff was friendly and helped us decide what to get but the wait is pretty long. We ordered a mix of chicken and pernil mofonguitos, beef chimi sandwishes, with a morir soñando and passion fruit juice. I also ordered a cheeseburger empanada. Those mofonguitos are a definite hit. They are a cool spin to the traditional mofongo with good flavore. The chimi sandwishes were pretty tasty and you can't got wrong for $5 each. The passion fruit juice was spot on but my friend stated that the morir soñando was way too sweet. The one thing that I personally did not like was that the cheeseburger empanada was cold. With that being said it was an ok dining experiance and will definitely go back for more of those mofonguitos and try...
Read moreIt is a good place, they cook good dominican fast food, but they never have anything ready, not even empanadas or croquettes. That most restaurants always have that and ready. As a starter for an appetizer while you wait for the main course…They need to know that whatever you order you have to wait 10 or 20 minutes for your order.
The bad thing is that parking is a little complicated in that area, but they have chairs outside where you can sit and look at your car from the outside.
the prices are a little expensive but it's worth it Delicious. They just need to improve the quality of the employees a little since it's Dominican food place but the employees are not Dominican so you have to specify very well what you want so they don't make mistakes in your order…
My husband and I have eaten empanadas, croquettes, sandwiches, and empanadas, but the best are the bollitos de yuca with cheese, 🧀 (cassava) It has a super rich garlic flavor and is delicious on the palate… they are the best in the city, they remind me of Santo...
