Okay food... terrible service. During this COVID-19 pandemic you’d think the people would be nice and considerate... FIRST THINGS FIRST, I ordered for pick-up. Because of the covid-19 I didn’t feel comfortable checking my food before I left the restaurant to check if it was right or not... (maybe that was my mistake but still, as a paying customer you expect your order to be correct) So I got home. Over the phone, I ordered 2 sopes, 2 quesadillas & 1 huarache. Problem #1: I ended up with 1 sope instead of 2... problem #2: half the tortilla for my huarache was uncooked. (I am Mexican. My mom makes her tortillas so I KNOW when a tortilla is fully cooked.) & my huarache came WITHOUT the meat I ordered (which they charge you extra for). SECONDLY, when I finished eating the food, unsatisfied, I called the restaurant to let them know my concerns and the errors in my order. Halfway through talking & explaining what was wrong after the lady on the phone asked the second time, she HUNG UP ON ME. I called again right after, even more upset, and it beeped as if the number was disconnected. The food was sub-par. It was ok. But being charged for stuff I didn’t get & then getting hung up on was annoying. This was my third time eating from this place (all other times the food was eh also) & needless to say, not ordering from this place again. Food is great! Known this place for decades! BUT I notice that prices do not match their menu. When I asked, the lady owner said it says in “fine print” that prices are subject to change and due to Covid (4 years ago) that they printed so many menus like that so prices will change at anytime. She claims no one else has complained even after I told her that I understand 100% prices must go up but to update menus and stop advertising wrong prices. Very disappointed with my torta. Torta is a very common Mexican antojito--street sandwich. This however, was a HUGE let down.

The bun is usually a quality-bakery torta bun, and the sandwich always has mayonnaise and lettuce. Missing simple ingredients, and not excuted properly here.

THERE IS LITERALLY ONE SLICE OF AVOCADO AND JALAPEÑO ON EACH SIDE ALSO. NOT KIDDING. WTH. $9? NO care.

The rest of the menu looks good so MAYBE I will try something else, but I'm too cheesed off with them right now...
