B&W Deli & Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

I would have preferred to send an email directly to the owner but since I could not find a contact email, here we are... The service in this place was AWFUL tonight. The old guy making the sandwiches was RUDE and AGGRESSIVE and down right distasteful. So much so that I refused to purchase my item. To be fair I am not the sensitive type, and I am familiar with the place enough to expect his terse demeanor. I have lived and worked in the neighborhood for 8 years. My company often does business with them but tonight he crossed the line. He was yelling for not giving my order fast enough (in an empty store), telling me he has worked there 30 years, not sure why that mattered. He refused to finish making my friends burger, which was already on the grill, unless I paid for my sandwich. I told him, you can't treat people like trash and then expect them to purchase food from you. That's when he called us assholes and told us to get the f@*K out. So we did, walked right down to H-Yard Gourmet Deli, where assisted without fail. Anyone who goes to B&W late nights know the person I am referring to, because there are one two of them and the other guy is often quiet, kind and respectful. Needless to say, we won't be doing business with B&W...

After a concert down the street, we stopped by and grabbed some bites for the trip back home.. sandwiches were bomb… but what was above and beyond was I had forgot my vinyl on the counter. This spot is in the heart of NYC and busy with or without a show pouring out… I called 30 min later to find the guy behind the counter held on to it after trying to catch us on the street. There are thousands of Deli’s in NYC but I will make it a point to go out of my way for this one knowing the staff is just as solid as the menu. Not all hero’s...

A lot of stuff in the Deli is Old.which was cool until it come to the FOOD!!!Food had been cooked 2hrs b4 we got there it LONGER!!! Soda was flat(Coke)they were out of hoagie bread. The men that own r work there they were ok tho.... other than that maybe I need to try earlier!!! Cause eating there late isn't the way to Go!!! They are the ONLY Deli THAT STAY OPEN 24HRS!!!During this (Pandemic)(I Pray GOD watches over them)SO THAT'S YOUR ONLY CHOICE IF YOU...
