Wow what an incredibly energetic environment this place has!! I enter into a very busy yet organized environment. Upon approaching the host Bechir and having my reservation found I was quickly seated by Julie who set up our table instantly. Once seated Bechir did an AMAZING job with providing prompt drinks and our food. My food was incredibly delicious! I ordered the LT Slider and the meat was slightly pinker than I can appreciate. Bechir came and replaced my order which I already started to eat and he made sure it was exactly as I wanted. At this point I’m too full to finish the sliders and he packed them to go. I used to come here when it was The Vine. I actually didn’t know it had changed until met up with a friend here for drinks. The menu isn’t as good anymore and I was devastated to hear they no longer serve the Frose! This is the first place I ever tried it and it is (well was) still the best I’ve ever had!

For a drink, I ordered a Mezcal Negroni; it was all right. We also ordered the fried calamari, crisps & dips and French fries. There’s nothing really inventive about the menu and it is standard bar fare. For the most part, the food was fine but I really didn’t like the crisps & dips. Back Bar at the Kimpton on 6th Ave is a hidden gem—totally unassuming at first glance but full of charm. The space has this warm, rich wood aesthetic that feels both elevated and inviting. When we went, there was a great mix of people—some working quietly on laptops, others clearly tourists or locals unwinding. The live music added such a lovely, elegant touch without overpowering the vibe. Cocktails are around $20, but they’re thoughtfully crafted and absolutely worth it.
