Second Hand Records NYC — Local services in New York

Probably the worst record store I been to in my life. If you want to sell records or vinyls be prepared to meet an aggressive, hostile very short man I think his name is Fernando, who will pick up calls and probably be on them 80% of your time in the store. From the dismissive aura to the disgusting words he used talking to me just because I was curious was disgusting. I came in to buy some records and also sell them but on top of the bad attitude this angry lonely man had, he messed up the payment and didn’t even have the card reader ready for me to pay. He went on his phone did something and the card reader was working. No transparency, just buy and get out of my store. Worst customer service ever, don’t know if it’s because I’m a minority he acted like that but this was legit the worse service from a human being i probably ever experienced in my life. There’s other record stores where people aren’t angry and miserable with their jobs, go to them like I did. Be careful here.. the dude working at 5:45pm today seemed like he was going to start a fight...

Love this store! Had a great collection of records- for a fair price, I traded in some old records I had for a little bit of cash (price was fairly good considering they weren’t in the greatest condition) and the owner was nice enough to give me a couple of recommendations based on the records I picked up! And they actually ended up being the best ones I picked up from the store today! A big thank you for the great recommendations!

Ive been to many record stores in Brooklyn, to sell and buy records. With that been said, Rico's store is by far the best place you can place foot in. Either if you go there to buy or sell records, or just listen to what he's currently playing in his element. grab a cup of coffee and go hang at second hand records in Bushwhick. I guarantee you will leave refreshed, energized and most of all, musically inspired for whatever your reasons may be. Oh and did I mention he's the dopiest guy ever too?
