I finally got around to trying the newly opened @boongschicken Korean Fried Chicken place. From the moment I walked in, the smell of crispy fried goodness hit me, and I knew I was in for something special.
The menu was straightforward but packed with options. They have ramen station where you can choose from their wide selection of ramen to cook it on the machine provided. For the chicken : I went with a half-and-half combo: one half glazed in soy garlic, the other in sweet and spicy. Both were crispy even under a thick, sticky glaze. The soy garlic was sweet, salty, and had just the right amount of savoriness. The spicy one had a good kick without overpowering the flavor of the chicken itself.
Overall, if you're into crispy, flavorful chicken that doesn’t hold back on bold sauces, this spot is definitely worth the visit.

Read moreMy friends and I came to this place for a quick meal after work. It’s a really nice place, small and cozy. Ps. They have free kimchi and scallions which is a really nice touch. x

Do yourself a favor and grab a bite from here—you won’t be...
