Boss Tweeds — Restaurant in New York

Incredible!!! We have loved going to Boss Tweeds as a couple. If you ever needed a great holiday experience - the way they have it decorated right now is fantastic and classy. Recently I hosted two events at Boss Tweeds and the level of service, quality of food, and overall vibe has been next level. The first was in the lower level bar - we needed a space where we could have music sometimes and also be able to speak as a group. It is an incredibly cool private space that actualy rivals the ground floor space (rare). The second was last night with well over 80 people - none of whom ever waited for a drink or for food - all of whom loved it. The food was delicious. I had the seared tuna sandwich with fries. Great flavors. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. My cocktail was terrible. It was like drinking a glass of lime juice. Very unbalanced. I sent it back and asked for a glass of wine instead. The good news is that they change it with no problem. The bad news is that the server proceeded to tell me that not everyone has a palette for cocktails. So apparently the cocktail wasn’t the issue. It was my palate. Its not great service to make your customer feel like they are not sophisticated enough to understand what a drink should taste like. To be fair i dont think the server was trying to be insulting. Boss Tweeds is an amazing spot with a mixology focus and a cool speakeasy vibe. The decoration is dark and inviting, making you feel like you’ve stepped into The Great Gatsby.

The service here is super friendly and the mixed drinks are spectacular. The bartenders really know their stuff and make some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The bar is very clean and has an upscale feel, with plush velvet barstools that are really comfortable. And the cocktail specials menu is on point.

There’s even a fireplace upstairs, which adds a cozy touch. With two floors, there’s plenty of space to find a perfect spot to relax.
