Came here with three other girlfriends because we bought 2 pulsd deals at $39/each. "Your $39 Brunch For Two (a $98 Value) Includes: 2 Entrees (up to a $22 value each). 90 Minutes of Unlimited Cocktails including Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Peachy Bellinis, French 75s, Aperol Spritzers, and Tipsy Punch Teapots for 2 (a $27 value each). Tax & tip not included. We recommend tipping on the full value of the service."
My friend who bought the pulsd deals made a reservation for the four of us at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, the place was maybe half full. The crowd was mainly 20-30ish year olds enjoying brunch with friends. The brunch menu had entrees no more than $22, so we basically could choose anything from the brunch menu (cannot pick from their regular menu). I got the breakfast burger because it sounded filling and I was super hungry not haven eaten anything all day in preparation for this. I got my burger medium rare and egg sunny side up. The burger was definitely sizable and filled me up pretty much for the rest of the day.
For the drinks, I started with a bloody mary, which was a lighter bloody than the ones I've had before. It was still good, I tasted the vodka. Feeling more sweet, I stuck to mimosas for the rest of brunch. To end, our table ordered the Tipsy Punch Teapot because we were curious to see what it is. Our tea cups came with ice and a slice of orange. The tea pot had the punch in it along with ice to keep the beverage chilled. It was pretty adorable, kind of like a fun twist on afternoon tea.
Because taxes and tips were not included in the pulsd deal, we ended up paying about $12 additional per person. So the total cost of brunch was around $32/person with bottomless drinks. A reasonable deal if you're able to down...
Read moreBefore I go into the details of my experience here, I’ll disclose that I USE to be a bar person years ago(I’ve grown out of it) however if you are a bar person this place is definitely more your speed. I Came here with a friend for the Pacers and Knicks Playoffs game and let me say this place is VERY popular. Upon our arrival we needed ID to get in. This place is your typical bar step up . Tvs, waiters, bar stools , and small tables. However this place gets extremely PACKED , and I’m talking shoulder to shoulder packed. We snagged a seat at the bar , luckily in time before the crowd, and was serviced immediately by the bartenders. The menus are digital which I thought was pretty cool. My friend and I ended up sharing an order of boneless buffalo wings and onion, as the serving sizes were large enough to split . The food was solid! . I wasn’t too in love with the drinks or the drink options. We both ordered a sour drink ( I can’t remember the name but it was whiskey) but I wasn’t impressed at all. There is an outdoor seating area , which is really cool if you’d like to escape the crowd. At one point It became so loud in there but every seemed to be perfectly fine with the volume ( except me lol) Overall solid place for good bar food, to catch a game, or just chill and drink a beer. Highly recommend for a bar type...
Read moreStopped in for brunch one Sunday, just before noon with a Pulsd brunch deal. The deal was for two entrees, and 90 minutes of unlimited drinks. Other than your typical mimosas, and bloody marys, you can also choose from French 75s, and aperol spritzs, which I really appreciated. I had the French 75. The first one was good but after that, it it tasted a bit funky (maybe they switched champagnes?).
For food, my friend and I decided to order the burger and the Irish breakfast, and go halfsies since we wanted to try both. Both were good, no complaints. It's definitely above average and a lot better-tasting than other restaurants with similar brunch deals.
I also really liked that they were decked out for Christmas already. It gave the place a nice, homey feel. It didn't even feel like we were dining at a pub. I'd definitely come back for another brunch - hopefully before Christmas so that I can admire the...
