Upside Pizza — Restaurant in New York

My honest review, i liked the pizza place but it's not the top of the list (not to mention it's the end of the day), the tomato sauce is a bit too pulpy or not blended in well enough to smoothness, let alone I could only taste the tomato and nothing more than that, and because of that, the crust tastes alright but it came out a bit soggy to my liking in the middle.

The Garlic Knots on the contrary are one of the best ones I've ever had, very soft texture, good balance between the oil and Garlic, but again, the marinara sauce doesn't have any kick to it, just tastes like flat out tomato puree and that's it.

I had two square slices and an order of garlic knots, and my conclusion is as follows:

The tomato sauce they make I feel is too plain to my liking (maybe it's just one-off but this is apparent to the slices as well.)

Ugh the ice cream was watery and the toppings were like 3 pretzels and 3 strawberries, one of the men making pizzas explained them all to me but the other one was rude and mad when i just got a fountain soda, and even said “thanks for the tip” when i didn’t tip 😭, also the manager or whoever is in charge of checks is super unprofessional, while we were checking out and ordering he was talking to the workers about how they aren’t getting their checks this weeks and putting down the girl working for let the vanilla ice cream get low, in front of customers is just so rude and embarrassing for her! was not necessary, he kept talking to her while she was trying to take my order , the manager (i think, white man) treated like me like i wasn’t even standing there ! also witnessed a guy ask for a water cup after buying 3 slices of pizza and was told very rudely he had to buy a drink from the fridge ,...

I ate pizza there tonight. The pizza was reasonable... very expensive. Not worth such an expensive price. Plus, the sauces that other pizzerias give you for free cost money in this place. The toilets there are filthy. Very very stinky. The staff is very unfriendly. The air conditioners drip on the tables. And when I wanted to put some Parmesan cheese on my pizza the container was empty. I wouldn't recommend this place. I won't go back there. The only reason I was there, despite everything, is because they were open until late at night and everything else was closed.I'm attaching a video I took of the air conditioner dripping onto my table and onto me.
