Carvel — Restaurant in New York

Very disappointed with my recent visit. I brought my family for Carvel’s Wednesday BOGO sundae deal, but was charged full price for a third sundae and one served in a cone. The staff member, James, claimed the cone wasn’t included—though this was not mentioned anywhere in-store or online. When I offered to pay for the cone separately and have the ice cream moved to a cup, he refused, citing a “policy” that wasn’t posted or explained.

What made the experience worse was how unhelpful and dismissive the staff was, saying, “we’re a busy store” instead of trying to resolve the issue. The customer service was poor, and unfortunately, so was the cleanliness. The counter was dirty, toppings were spilled everywhere (as shown in the photo), and it didn’t feel like a place where hygiene was taken seriously.

I’ve visited this location many times, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. If you can’t resolve a simple issue or maintain basic cleanliness, you don’t deserve...

Amazing ice cream amazing prices during the week especially Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have the buy to get the third one 50% off or buy two get one free amazing specials really delicious milkshakes there always perfect temperature when delivered by Uber eats or by Dasher I got to admit it's really really good even their old school birthday cake you would think that other places you know have better ice cream but living in Brooklyn my whole life I really don't see another ice cream shop that really compares to this one especially down to their specialized personalized birthday cakes all the way down to their flying saucers and their amazing milkshakes that really really hit the spot especially after grabbing a couple of good burgers I got to admit their milkshakes and their ice cream or without a doubt non comparison to any other place...

I frequent this location often with my children because my toddler LOVES their pistachio ice cream. She convinced me to try it and it really is that good. My favorite from this store is the coffee ice cream. Hits everytime. The store is very small but always looks clean. There’s not much organization when it comes to the line so they usually just ask “who’s next”. All workers that I’ve interacted with have been pleasant. I’ve never had a negative interaction with a worker so I’d say their customer...
