A Mix 47 — Restaurant in New York

Walked in and the staff is very friendly. Our order for lunch: Asian fried calamari, 16 medium fried shrimp with PFR, 4 chicken wings with FF and a order of shumai Japanese shrimp dumplings. Order was over 20 I got 2 free sodas. When the order came out I was happy again the staff we as wonderful as they can be. They made sure we had any sauces we need and bought our plates to the table. Food is fresh and excellent why the 4 instead of the 5? The lady nuked my shumai in the microwave. Other than that even the fried rice was tasty. Fried calamari cooked to perfection. Not sure what was going on with the food, but I bought some chicken and broccoli and it has a strange taste, and after taste, there was also a type of sweetness associated with those strange "tastes". Spoke to a friend and we think it was too much msg, or at least that's what I told myself, so I could let go of the idea of not knowing what I ingested. Needless to say I won't be going back. Not only was the taste off, but the chicken and broccoli was SOOO soft and drowning in the strange tasting white sauce.

For a local Chinese food restaurant this place is great. Very clean food and swift service. Not the most sought after dine in location due to its well over ninety nine percent take out/ order volume but still very clean and cozy so long as you don't mind constantly pleased consumer traffic. The baby shrimp are pre cleaned and the oil is obviously fresh and at most minimally reused as indicated by the light color and fluffy texture in the fried rice. Great for party tray...
