I frequent this store but I am thinking of finding a new bagel spot. The employees have their good days and bad days like normal human beings. However, when dealing with the public there is still a level of professionalism that is expected at all times. The tall Indian man manages to work sloppy from time to time such as taking off his disposable glove to work the register while preparing food and picking up the same glove to continue preparing food. This particular day he did this and I kindly asked him if he could use a new glove, as I felt that re-using a glove he laid on the counter was unsanitary. He was furious and yelled for me to check my change which was wrong by the way. I handed him a $20 bill for $1.75 order and he gave me back $16. I said you gave me the wrong change. He got back to the register and still didn't know what to do. I then said you were supposed to give me $18.25 back. Another employee ended up completing my order and when I left to eat my bagel it was cold with a huge glop of unmelted butter. I was very displeased with my order but did not return to complain because I did not have the energy. Customers please check your hot food before leaving the store if this man is working there. The toaster is always turned down after 8am or so, so it seems the bagels aren't toasted properly. It's like they only cater to the 5am to 7:30am customers when it should be all hours of operation. The tall Indian man in the past also gave me someone else's order but by the time I got to my car and realized it wasn't mine I had to go back in and ask about my order and he was standing at the door waiting for me to come back. If you see this man expect poor customer service or ask another employee...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWish I could give ZERO stars to this Bagel Store. My son and I walked into this Bagel store around 3:10 pm, a Friday afternoon. We were looking at the menu and trying to figure out which Bagel my son wanted to have. 2 Minutes after and still trying to get a good look at the menu which is high up and in small prints (unless you're familiar with their menu), the man behind the counter said in a very gruff sounding tone, "hurry up, we're closing in a minute"! Mind you, their Ad states that the store closes at 4:00 pm. Well me? This person didn't have to say it TWICE, I work too hard for my money for anyone to speak to me in that tone, let alone to have this person prepare a roll or bagel for me? NO WAY!!! We immediately left and stepped down to Jilly's, a more welcoming environment with much tastier paninis, sandwiches, etc.. BTW, I can't wait for the Deli across from this Bagel store to be opened. Hmmm, I wonder why he looked at us and decided that he wasn't going to sell us, obviously, there had to be a reason because I checked as I was leaving my office which was around 4:30 pm and the store was still open...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been coming to Hot Bagels for months now, today I had such a bad experience with MATT. I placed my order with the other person working. Matt comes out from the back and yelled at me to āMOVE a taeā, he yelled more than once. I was actually shocked at this disrespect because I was a regular and always respectful to everyone that works there. I didnāt respond to Matt, I paid for my food and left. I will never return to this place again. Why be rude to customers? I was already having such a bad day and this just sealed the deal. I didnāt deserved to be yelled at. Matt, you should be a little respectful with dealing...
