We were craving some hot chicken so we decided to stop by chickndrip. We realized that this used to be “Off the Bone.” The interior looks as though it is still under construction—almost unfinished. The benches are not comfortable to eat in because they are clunky and cannot be moved around to sit closer to the table. These are minor issues but we went ahead and ordered the combo “2 sliders n side.” We wanted hot and extra hot, and were told that it will be an extra dollar for choosing two different heat levels. This was a bit unusual as we go to Dave’s Hot Chicken all the time and it doesn’t matter what level you choose—the price stays the same. Moreover, the menu does not specify an extra charge for different spice levels. Anyway, we ended up getting two “hot” sandwiches. They were so spicy that we were sweating. It was definitely hotter than Dave’s “extra hot.” I’m not sure how they assess the spice level because it was definitely not on par with “hot.” Moreover, I realized afterwards that we were charged 13.99 for the “2 sliders n side” which is advertised as 12.99 on the menu. We got the same heat level so there shouldn’t have been an extra dollar charge. It’s also interesting to me that the 2 sliders n side is a combo, which is usually supposed to be a better deal than purchasing items individually, but it is two cents MORE EXPENSIVE than just getting two sliders with a side (as individual items instead of a combo). Each slider is $4.99 and each side is $2.99 so you would get two sliders and a side for $12.97 as opposed to the combo which offers the same food for $12.99, but actually charged us $13.99 for. They also charged us a 6% transaction fee. I have seen restaurants charge up to 4%, which is still pushing it, but these people are charging SIX PERCENT which means they are profiting off the transaction fee! They don’t even have a sign up to state that they will charge 6% on credit cards. All in all, do not recommend this place with their nickel and dime tactics 👎

Decided to give this place a try for the first time because it looked good in the pictures and I got scammed. I ordered the “tender+ 1 slider w/fries” combo which says is $11 and a can of coke that had to be like $2 max, I check my bank and it says this place charged me $18 for the whole thing. I wasn't even given a recipient. Never again coming here. The price on the menu doesn’t match what they take out your account. To anyone paying with apple pay make sure you check the transaction once you pay and always ask for the receipt. People work too hard for their money to just be scammed like that. As for the atmosphere, you can tell its new, it looks like a basement, boxes all over the place, it looked a bit sketchy, I even waited outside and had to double check that I was in the right place. I've seen better kitchens at a deli. The only tasty thing about the food was the sauce. I got the tender on a regular bread from the supermarket, not even butter on it or nothing. Definitely not worth anywhere near $20. These people should be ashamed!

Update: No longer HMS verified. I will never be eating here. I’ve ordered from here a few times within the last couple of years, so you could say I’m a loyal customer. Restaurant could use some work from the inside for customers who like to dine in. It doesn’t seem like they give particular attention to the customer experience but it is fast food like Dave’s so that is to be expected. The spice levels are not on par with Sam’s Hot Chicken in Hillside which they are allegedly partners OR share recipes with (I am unsure). I wish the price wouldn’t increase practically every time I order food from here. There needs to be transparency with payment methods and tax, which other customers have brought up. Once I came during lunch time, they refused to apply the lunch time price specials which is a bummer. Please don’t advertise deals you won’t actually enact, it’s extremely disappointing. However, the food is good enough for me to keep coming back. Ordered from here last night and got the single slider but was given a single tender instead.

EDIT: I went back after the hype and opening and today was such a disappointment . Just look how bad they quality went down the picture you see with three burgers WERE FREE And tasted amazing quality was good but look I paid $10.99 for a bun like this with no cheese just a small piece of tender inside? Damn that was disappointing plus their lunch special changed from 4pm to 3pm. Iwas looking for halal hot chicken place in Queens since I lot of them has opened in the city and long island area but not much in Queens, this location is in a busy area and the atmosphere was nice. It has a small space but has space for lounge area and seating. Loved that it was a family business and everyone works really hard to prepare your food. everything was made to fresh so you have to wait few minutes for your food. But it’s so worth it because the juicy tenders and flavors was so good!! their special sauce has flavor and it was very delightful. Went on grand opening day and they had a long line for free meal but we also got the loaded fries ($10.99) and it was so good i usually don’t like fries since it gets soggy but it’s with their tenders and it had amazing crunch and soft fries with coleslaw and sauce 10/10!! Took the free meal (slider and fries) to go home. they have many spice level and i got the hot (wasn’t hot enough for me lol) but very delicious will be coming back! they also have a lunch special for $9.99 for any...

I absolutely adore this restaurant because it consistently delivers an explosion of incredible flavors with every dish. The chefs here have an extraordinary talent for blending ingredients and seasonings. It's a place where flavor is not just a feature but an art form, making every dining experience a true gastronomic adventure that keeps me coming back for more. I must say, the burger at this establishment is an absolute gem. From the first bite, I was transported to flavor heaven. The patty, cooked to perfection, was a juicy, succulent masterpiece that practically melted in my mouth. The seasoning was spot on. But what truly sets this burger apart are the thoughtful toppings and condiments. The fresh, crisp lettuce and added a delightful crunch. The house made sauce was a revelation, bringing a harmonious blend of sweet and savory notes that tied the whole burger together. And let's not forget the bun it was soft yet sturdy, toasted to perfection, and served as the ideal vessel for this burger masterpiece. The combination of all these elements resulted in a burger that was not just a meal but a memorable culinary experience. If you're a burger enthusiast, this place is an...
