PREVIOUSLY: If you're ordering malatang through Uber Eats, make sure you get the right broth OR you will be getting a non-spicy meal.

I just made an order for the beef malatang with bone broth, EXTRA SPICY. The order arrived with a clear broth. I called the shop and this girl explained that bone broth doesn't come spicy. THAT I understand but then why would you call the overall dish MALATANG if you're giving options for the meal to not be spicy. I thought it was going to be a bone broth base with EXTRA SPICY mala. Confusing setup of options that could be made clear.

Anyway, learn from my mistake and don't order the bone broth if you want malatang. Her advice: "Write chili oil in the additional notes section." :-/

Really wanted to leave a good review since they give you A LOT of toppings, and the bone broth itself was good. But not sure I'll be giving them my business again with the nonchalant service I received.

It was absolutely terrible — completely bland, like they forgot to add salt. There was no flavor at all, and it was really hard to eat. To make it worse, the owner actually told me to leave as soon as I started eating, saying I should hurry up and go. Then he told me not to come back next time because they don’t allow me to eat inside the restaurant. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant. Not only was the food bad, but the service was awful too. After kicking me out, the staff even started swearing at the counter. I was honestly worried they might throw the food in my face. And seriously, the food was just disgusting. It had no taste at all. The squid was like rubber bands, and the tofu skin was so tough it felt completely uncooked.

The environment was terrible as well — the tables felt greasy to the touch, and the kitchen was full of trash. It was...

I went to order food at their store today, and the service attitude of the girls at the front desk was very poor.

I was being scolded loudly throughout the communication process. When I asked her which soup bases were not spicy, she didn't even bother to say anything, but just pointed to the menu for me to read. I first ordered a tomato soup base set B, and then wanted to order a tonkotsu soup A set, she immediately interrupted me impatiently and said: "So do you want tomato or tonkotsu soup?" I replied that both Yes, she said, "Then you have to come one by one, and order what staple food you want first."

I just came for a meal, and I didn't expect to be so disgusted. Maybe the front desk lady just hates her job, but innocent customers shouldn't be used as a punching bag while...
