Stylist: Vivian & Kevin. Peer pressure tipping along with a horrible service.
I chose this salon because of previous positive experiences, but this visit was highly disappointing. My bf sister (17) and I were quoted $300 and $280 for our services, but upon arrival, the prices were raised to $320 each, with an unclear explanation from the manager. Despite this, I trusted them with a larger service involving a haircut and balayage.
I explained my desired cut to both the manager and stylist Kevin, emphasizing layers and a shorter front. Unfortunately, the haircut I received was uneven, slanted, and not what I asked for. When I pointed out the issues, Kevin initially asked me to wait until he finished eating before making adjustments. Even after "fixing" it, the haircut was still slanted and shorter than I wanted.
To make matters worse, I felt uncomfortable and disrespected during checkout. I tipped $10 despite my dissatisfaction, only to overhear the stylist complaining to the manager in another language about the tip amount while I was standing right there. The manager then attempted to shame me by comparing my tip to someone else's $80 tip and lecturing me about tipping etiquette, which I found highly inappropriate.
I left feeling disrespected, unhappy with my haircut, and disheartened by the unprofessional behavior. I expected better from a salon I previously trusted, and trusted with a family member.
My boyfriend’s sister was in tears over her hair color, leaving completely disappointed with both the haircut and the color. During my session, I even got up to ensure her stylist, Vivian, wouldn’t leave her blonde, with the manager also reassuring us. Despite being so unhappy with the service overall, she still decided to tip $10 instead of the $25 she originally planned to give the stylist.
As we were leaving, the manager told her she also needed to tip the person who washed her hair, which made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. Out of peer pressure and discomfort, she ended up tipping $10 to the person who only washed her hair. We left feeling disappointed and eager to get out of the building as quickly as possible.
We encouraged her to return to the salon to have this issue fixed immediately since we spent over 600 dollars but was too uncomfortable to...

I was in tears over my hair color, feeling completely disappointed with both the haircut and the color.
I was originally quoted $280 for the entire service, but upon arriving, they raised the price to $320, claiming it was because I dyed my hair over five years ago (even though the previous dye was completely out of my hair). Their reasoning felt really sketchy, as if they lured us in with the "great deal" only to increase the price once we got there.
This was my first time letting anyone other than myself cut my hair and my first time dyeing it in more than five years. I specifically chose Vivian after looking at reviews and her Instagram, which seemed very professional and showcased a lot of talent. I explained to her that I didn’t want a drastic cut—just a small trim with layers. Instead, I left with my hair much shorter than I wanted.
I was also really concerned about how long they left the bleach in my hair, worrying that it might fry my hair. At one point, they showed me a strand, and it felt gummy, which only made me more anxious. During my session, my boyfriend’s sister even got up to ensure my stylist, Vivian, wouldn’t leave my hair blonde. The manager reassured us that everything would turn out fine, but I was still uneasy.
During the toning process, I emphasized again that I didn’t want it blonde. They kept showing me different tones in my hair, and by the end, I was fed up with being in the salon and just wanted to leave. After the wash, Vivian asked if I wanted her to cut my bangs. Given the disappointing haircut I’d already received, I was hesitant, but I let her proceed.
As I was leaving, I still made sure to tip Vivian despite the disappointing experience. However, as we were walking out, the manager told me I also needed to tip the person who washed my hair. The woman who washed my hair had only been with me for about 15 minutes before Vivian took over. Out of peer pressure and awkwardness, I ended up tipping $10 to her as well. I felt so uneasy and disappointed by the entire experience that I just wanted to get out of the building as quickly...
Read moreI've been here two times for same process which was two times bleaching and toning. First time experience with Vivian was amazing. She knows exatly what she is doing and knowledgeable.
Second time, I made appointment with her again but she couldnt work that day so I decided to just do my hair with other crews there and I really regret I made that decision.
A guy who applied solution on my hair pull my hair so strong it was so hurting so I had to ask for being gentle with my hair. Also those soulution were pretty dry, it came off like a powder from my hair which I could tell damage started.
Long story short, yes, my hair came out super damaged. I ask the person who did my hair that, is my hair gonna break, and he said no.
I got scared to get more damage on my hair so I asked I dont want iron too hard, but the guy said he wanted to make my hair looks nice so he has to do it, and while he ironing my hair, iron touched my scalp and it was so hot and painful.
A day later I found my hair were stuck in few spots, and could feel round mole thing. I figured it was a pus from my scalp. Also I see my hair is so breakable.
I wanted to go back to the shop and solve this problem, but Im out of town for a while, so I had to share my experience...
