I recently visited this exhibition, but the strong odor in the space made me feel dizzy within a minute. The air quality made it uncomfortable to stay, raising concerns about whether the environment is safe, especially for staff who work here regularly. It's a truly well constructed artspace as a person who does not have a minimum of $100,000 to spend on these pieces I was blown away with the quality of the art I was seeing. This is one not to miss with two floors of art to explore. 📍 Agora Gallery 530 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001 Through March 24, Agora Gallery presents Woven Stories, featuring @JerryAtkinsSculpture, in a group exhibition of artwork that expresses powerful collective and personal narratives, through the intersection of shapes, colors, and media. Jerry’s Atkin’s is one of the top poker players in the world who has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a Medical degree from NYU. His oeuvre includes depictions of people, animals and inanimate objects, standing for humans’ never ending struggle to make sense of the world. Signs of Life What you see is made from knotted strings! This gorgeous immersive tunnel was created by Artist Chiharu Shiota, who skillfully weaves knotted threads to create extraordinary art. The new exhibition “Signs of Life” at Galerie Templon features a spectacular site-specific installation and a series of sculptures and drawings of Chiharu Shiota’s work. “The exhibition questions the notion of the “web”, a living organism similar to the structures that make up the universe or the neurones our brains are built on.
