If you are a minority, do not bother wasting your time here. You will not get any service at all. None at all. There is no host. Of course they will hire us to meet their quota of minorities, one or two of us but will they ask you if you’d like a seat or order anything? No. Everything is also “reserved.” Quote on quote. We asked someone where to order by the bar, they pointed us to the server. Server wouldn’t take our order without a table. Then got directed to the bar which was almost impossible to order at since we asked the person right next to the bar and they pointed us to the server. At this point, I felt very unwelcome and it was time to go somewhere else that has HOSPITALITY. It is so weird, a food and beverage spot is considered hospitality yet there was none at all. East point was not welcoming and did not have any kind of acknowledgment we were even there. The only approach was “just so you know this is reserved and once more of their party comes you’ll have to move,” no effort to direct us somewhere else. I write this review so everyone knows the expectations of experience when you arrive here. I know there are other bars in this are and there is a reason I have never entered here. Once I did,...
Read moreHad a great time here. Great place for viewing sports events. They had TV for hockey and basketball playoffs 50/50 at the same time and when the hockey game was over, all the TV switched over to the basketball game. Plus they had music running when it was commercial breaks.
This place has the best "bar food" I've ever been to. Quality ingredients and nice plating. $45 for a bottle of prosecco that had waitresses come out with sparklers was definitely fun and worth it if you're into that kind of thing.
The 2 hot blonde waitresses were extremely friendly and professional and kept coming to our table to clean up our mess and to check up on us many times even for a busy dinner service. We didn't even have to flag them down a single time. A++ in service. I definitely recommend this place and will come...
Read moreWent there for the Super Bowl. They deliberately turned the sound system up to the point where it was painful to be in the room. Even their staff were agreeing it was too loud but apparently someone upstairs was controlling the volume and wanted everyone to go deaf.
Edit: Given the somewhat sassy response from the owner, can I just make it clear that Eastpoint seat people at corner tables right next to the speakers. It had nothing to do with them trying to build atmosphere with music. They put people next to huge speakers that they turned up to 11 and then refused to turn them down despite repeated requests. If it wasn’t the Super Bowl we would’ve just left. My right ear still rings now and then 2 months later.
Also, their staff wear earplugs. Says it all about management...
