Let me start with the fact that one of the men from this firehouse
Johnny Heffernan Johnny Hef as we called him
passed away as a first responder on 911
he was a buddy of mine and he played in this great rock 'n' roll band called the BULLYS
These are some of the coolest guys I've ever met
they gave my 14-year-old son a tour of the firehouse
let him try on an outfit and let him do some other hands on stuff
The guys got around my son and helped him and showed him how to do different things in the house and taught him all about the truck and how it works
they couldn't be more doting for a bunch of guys we never met before
they were absolutely amazing
They even invited us to sit down and have lunch with them
Man those guys can cook!
