Great food, but the Mexican boy at the counter has a really bad bad attitude. I’ve been there several times since I live nearby. This dude (I don’t know his name) is rude when you enter to eat there, impolite when you call for a delivery. What’s your problem Señorito? People don’t have to beg you to eat Mexican food, there is something called customer service when you work in the hospitality business. If you feel entitled because you feel like a big shot and you made it working at the counter of a Mexican taqueria or you just hate your job, don’t be disrespectful with customers. Unless I’m missing something (like this guy is the owner and doesn’t have anyone above him) if I was the manager of that place I would realize that he doesn’t do good for business and he would be gone. Until then, good luck but you won’t see my hard earned money: there are other Mexican restaurants where they treat you I’m not saying with white gloves, but just normally. Which is a long way to what I...
Read moreI've been here a couple of times now and I really like the food, the space and the service! Nestled inconspicuously in a quiet residential street, El Diablito is a laid back restaurant with a half-dozen tables and rustic decor that encourages you to brush up on your Spanish while you wait for your food. The menu spans all of the expected offerings of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas and the like with a selection of fillings for each. There are also omelets and other breakfasty options and prices stay reasonable. I love the salsa verde here which strikes the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy. Service is friendly and you don't get the 'you only want one taco each?' attitude that many places seem to give to the budget-conscious diner. Definitely somewhere...
Read moreI paid for two orders of nachos and one arrived with no chips. Just a container of liquid cheese and toppings. I had requested for extra chips on the side as there was no side order option listed on the door dash menu. While I can understand that a kitchen might choose deny such a request or contact me to advise me on an additional charge I was not expecting a completely invalidated meal. I contacted them to inquire about this obvious issue and the manager was belligerent and insulting. They would not tell me their name and repeatedly denied that it was a clear wrong on their part. Even an apology or acknowledgment would have gone a long way; no customer should be...
