friendly restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Hard pressed to think of a worse take-out place; even in a rough neighborhood. Took 20 minutes to order soup (the flavor of which was unlike any other take-out place. No, not good) and maybe another 25 minutes to get that made and paid for.

Worse part was the manager/owner was constantly screaming at the other two employees. That being the cook, just one, and the checkout girl taking orders. She was a complete sweetheart, but almost in tears. Those of us waiting to order or pickup looked at each other in shock, and felt bad for her as she looked embarrassed to be seen being treated this way.

I won't be returning here, and I just pray life goes...

I must admit, my opinion may be biased as I grew up patronizing this restaurant. I stopped by last night because I had a taste for their chicken egg foo yung. The original owners (The Wongs) have passed away, so I didn't know what to expect. I must say the food was good and taste the same from when I grew up, so this review is a good one because the food is still good... and I always run into old friends while I wait for my food, so it's a great time for me entirely. The told me one price and when my little brother went to pick up the food they charged him more than what it cost then I called back and the lady changed the prices to make it add up to what she charged when the food was picked up I also went online and seen the price also have a copy of the menu so I know for sure I'm right about being over charged so I plan on stopping by tomorrow in person on live video with my recipe and get my money back because it doesn't...
