Gino's of Middle Village Pizza — Restaurant in New York

5 Star I buy about 3 - 4 mushroom pies a week to share with my Dad and Brother delish no doubt very light and flavorful like a good pie should be

Update 5/28/25 Yeah 5 star, Dad is with me now 89 yrs old along with aid 8hrs a day mon - fri and we (my wife and I) cover the rest. Brother also on long Island now. My son has taken over the house and studying for his masters now at Turo up in Harlem, stopped by with my favorite local mushroom pie. Never disappoints, light, flavorful and the main attraction - the fresh sliced mushrooms. Fresh sliced mushrooms, so hard to find a pizzeria that uses just fresh mushrooms. Not brined, not sautéed, nothing just sliced and cooked in the oven and melted into the cheese just like they do in Italy....

We always order from gino’s and it is the best pizza, last few times the pizza sucked and was super thin. The owner is always very pleasant on the phone and I realized when he doesn’t pick up the phone for a delivery the food is terrible. I ordered a large pie and the cheese was halfway off the pizza and the cheese was piled in the corner of the box. The pizza was also burnt and super thin. I called to get a new pie ordered. In the replacement pizza the middle of the pizza was smushed on the top of the box and it was also burnt AGAIN. We will DEFINITELY NOT be...

I had an incredible experience at this pizzeria! The pizza was beyond awesome, especially the Sicilian square which happens to be my favorite. The fact that it's conveniently located around the corner from Juniper Park makes it even better. Grabbing a whole pie along with some refreshments and enjoying them on the park lawn is an absolute delight. The friendliness of the owner and staff added to the overall positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone – it's a definite must-visit for pizza...
