I have had several different delicious sandwiches and many various scrumptious soups at this speedy, simple, super-friendly lunch spot. I am always in and out in 2 minutes, and there is not a thing I have tried here that is not good. My fave sandwich is the Ham Everything Pickle which has only a handful of ingredients, but each ingredient is TOP quality: the mustard, the cheese, the ham, the delicious roll, the gherkins! BOOM! Super friendly people work there too! I also appreciate their minimal packaging; I don't feel like I'm filling a garbage truck with waste like at so many other takeout places. long: Good Neighbor Queens is a place that lives up to the expectations of what Manhattan 2.0 and/or the New Manhattan that LIC has been and continues to be hyped as. Besides the very efficient layout, the people generate a warmth of service and high quality that makes customers feel VIP. Love is definitely a key ingredient here. I enjoy my lunch break here at least once per week. My go-to's are the: margherita pizza empanada; tuna albacore salad; and the smoked salmon with cream cheese. I keep an eye our for the daily drink specials as some are just too irresistible to pass up such as the tres leches iced coffee. My favorite item on the menu is the bread. The bread is that good nice and fresh high quality.

It’s a rich and fulfilling alternative to the food choices nearby. The beet/quinoa/chickpea salad is the gold standard for salads.
