Sven Park — Attraction in New York

This is my first time at LIC dog park but omg i had such a bad experience. A brown shiba first started a fight and bite my friend's dog. Then the rest of the dog cornered my dog and as we left, I picked up my pup trying to stay away and the dogs wouldn't left me alone and left long marks on my leg. The owners didn't do anything even after I specifically ask them to stop the dogs. I was shocked that the dogs at LIC are this aggressive. It was something that I have never experienced before. It was in the small dog park. Maybe the big dogs have better tempers. Man, today was the worst dog park...

A good dog park ruined by bad people. Some of these ignorant dog owners really need to teach their dogs and themselves on how to behave. And yes, this is to a particular male and female dog owner both with larger dogs who clearly need some obedience training. If you see your dog being aggressive with other dogs, that means stop your dog and gtfo. That doesn’t mean just sit there and watch as the other dog is whimpering and yelping. It’s a beautiful little park, but when school let’s out, it’s becomes a hangout for teenagers that isn’t appropriate for younger children. (I wouldn’t mind as much if they didn’t treat it like a lounge for people their age.)

I’m not complaining technically, as it is a public park, but I don’t take the children I Nanny there between the hours of 3-5 for this reason. Just...
