Bagel Boss more like Bagel Loss. The owner is straight up mean with latinos. Not once, not twice, multiple occasions. First bad treatment occurred when I did a delivery for this store, the owner said mean things only to me but none to my white boss, second I went by to eat something and have a coffee, of course he didn’t recognized me but I received a different treat than other customers, unluckily in a bad way, third time I went to verify if this was just me or he really had something against me. I went with a friend to the store, as usual, a noticeable diversity of races as usual in new york (something I love by the way), since I went to his store with something in mind I took careful attention to his body language and the words he used when attending customers, call me crazy but I swear, I swear he speaks in a negative way towards latinos, his latino staff, his latino customers, my latino friend, and I, his latino delivery man. Don’t go unless you find this normal.

Oh - My -Goodness is all I can say to give this place a YES! YES! And a YESSSSSS!! Absolutely excellent experience even from the outside window which the beautiful pastries and decorated muffins and cupcakes inticed me to walk in and caused me a double take and a mouth watering ever so delicious experience and then to walk in and receive such excellent , courteous service! I took pics to show my father who has worked as a baker all of his life what a magnificent bakery and good looking store..the brownies, danishes, coffee cakes and everything I purchased down to the red velvet cupcake absolutely delectable.. the varieties of bagels and toppings are definitely a heaven for bagels.. I am going back and I would recommend this place to anyone if your meeting up and want to have a bite .. bagels and coffee.. a date... A treat.. here is the place to go! this place lives up to their name Bagel Boss !

My rating is entirely on the one bagel I eat (2/5). Other stuff may be great. So to not tank the overall review I rated it 3/5. I ordered a toasted everything egg bagel with scallion cream cheese. It was a 2/5. I don't recommended. Bread was cakey. Egg flavor was subtle. My favorite egg bagel (and overall bagels) in NYC is from absolute bagels in upper west side (they don't make everything egg bagel though). 5/5 Thompson square bagels are a 4/5 and a good alternative. I'll be trying out esse bagel and Dave's bagel in the future.

Hi ill never step foot in this place again the staff was rude even Mike the so called manager, briefly I work at BIMC almost 20 years I've ordered catering svc. Wasnt to bad, however last wk my wife had an eye surgery so we stopped for soup and a sandwich.A..PRICES WERE STUPID his answer THANK COVID is he nuts??B. then came wrong soup 🍲 sandwiches were small and lettuce was light brown not fresh. C. As i was leaving i was going to get a few cookies for the security desk a girl I know and a man she was training. I put 4 cookies on the counter where D.PROBLEM #7 ive left alot out it was just unreal they said no outside food i almost went nuts saying i bought it from here.I said lets go to my wife when some worker said Hey Buddy you gotta pay ....for the food ...the first guy was respectful and told this jerk were good to go....i still said T.Y when E. the idiot asked where are the Cookies 🍪 I HAD TO LAUGH i said back on the platter..ok ill take 4 ..now these were the size of a regular chips ahoy cookie a pinch bigger and individually wrapped it came to 10.85 i almost admitted myself...no wonder the place is always empty, and usually somewhat clean. Not a chance. I'm very sorry it was dirty and rude. My overall experience was ZERO.........000000000 what a shame please dont be fooled my fellow employees ive already canceled our good Friday lunch last week and went to Esa Bagel on 18 st better spreads and they been around....go where you like just dont go there unless you want to have a good laugh at prices and get asked to leave if you dont order fast enough...Thats what one of the Residents in the E.D Dept. Said ......my response was I TOLD YOU SO...

This is your run of the mill kosher dairy restaurant. So for anyone who's familiar with that, it means service is trash, workers have an attitude, and the food is mediocre at best. Avoid unless you keep kosher and can't get to another kosher spot.

I have ordered from here at least 6 times, since it's the only kosher bagel spot near my office...I regret it almost every time.

Bagels are about the only thing worth ordering if you're looking for consistency, but don't expect to get the right bagel if you order delivery. If they happen to be out of stock of the one you want, they pick one for you and then insist the order was correct, should you ever date to call and suggest it wasn't.

All prepared foods must be prepared by different people, because they look and taste different EACH TIME I ORDER. They also routinely forget pieces of the order (ex: latkes come with applesauce, until they forget the applesauce). By now, they owe me an applesauce, 2 bagels, and an upgraded cream cheese. I don't expect to ever claim these owed items, it's not like they weren't already paid for!

Management is straight up rude. When I call about issues with my order, they just tell me I'm wrong. Zero concept of good customer service.

In summary - AVOID UNLESS IT'S ALL YOU...
