No 1 Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

after calling and specifically mentioning that the only chinese food plate i ever eat is Gen Tso's chicken (of which ive had in over 200 restuarants in ny & nj)((5 of which were named no 1 )) they managed to give me breaded breading and the smallest sliver of what i would assume to be dark meat chicken.( you never know now a days) the sauce was delectable the rice cooked to perfection and the broccoli perfectly steamed, but that alleged chicken.... that isht was suspect. i will try them again ,next time requesting only that they only use white meat (as the recipe dictates) they have a menu board from 1990 something with outdated pricing that they dont uphold (some junkie was trying to get some chicken for $4.71) and they wouldnt stick to their own pricing. this place is suspect, but that general tso's sauce...

Very disappointed. No sure if it was because it was the last delivery order of the night but that is no excuse. I ordered Beef with Snowpeas and got a quart of nothing but snowpeas, I ordered Scallion pancakes and they were completely burnt on the bottom, and I order Spare ribs with black bean sauce which I never got anywhere else with vegetables but this one came with them without mentioning it did and I am allegic to green peppers so cannot even eat any of it. There food might be good but their service is awful and I ordered through Uber and am only getting money back for the snowpeas even though it cost me over $100.00 for mostly...

At one time this place had decent food but I took out yesterday and it was nothing short of awful. Overly greasy and the lady at the front had a terrible disposition. She's cleaning as my food was sitting there already prepared and I had to say something to get her to stop wiping things down so that I could get my order while it was still hot. I HAD TO THROW MOST OF IT AWAY....
