Ok so I’ve worked here for a while and I feel that I need to explain somethings about the realities about Haagen Dazs. We are a franchise, we’re the worlds first and we are at an expensive location, all of which means we’re expensive. If you're not willing to spend a lot of money, then there’s a cheaper ice cream place down the street, no one will stop you from going there. We try our very best to give quality customer service to even the most difficult customers. There are people who give us ripped money, will take extra items without paying(which are quite costly) and ask for multiple changes, which not only are wasteful but complains are because of ridiculous reasons. Yet we happily do it with great patience because that’s just Haagen Dazs. Our milkshakes are based on specific ratios, we are just not allowed to make it “more thick” or “less milk” because it won’t fill the cup and our machine can’t make it into the shake without the right measurement. The consistency of the ice cream is what determines the thickness of the shake. If the ice cream is softer and more room temperature, it won’t matter how much more we put, it won’t be Thick. People are so quick to give us bad reviews and say customer service is bad, we’re “bad” because you refused to cooperate with store rules. No one stops to question the character of the customers, we are often silent and take in the harsh words of customers who can be nasty and vile. There are people who freak out over whipped cream, decide to curse, and spill their shake on the floor to create a scene but somehow we’re the bad ones. There are many who are very satisfied with our services and leave great tips, too bad they don’t leave a review. Right now business is trash. Corona killed our business, many workers were cut and now the schedule is shorter than original. We are obligated to close half an hour early because it’s expensive to run a store for longer hours when no one actually buys our products. our main business happens around 5-8 after 9 it’s quite silent so why would we pay for extra electricity? Some people are so quick to leave a comment about us “rushing to close”. We’re not rushing. Almost every place you go to prepares to leave about half an hour before. A review was left said we’re closed at 10:30 when google said 11. Its just half an hour, and we’re not going to wait for some people to leave their homes at the last second of 11 just so they could get ice cream at 11 at night. Employees also have lives that we need to tend, some people are so selfish. They act like babies as if not having ice cream at the most ridiculous time of day will somehow ruin their everyday lives. Either come earlier or come a more realistic time, you don’t have to be so petty. Haagen Dazs has quality ice cream with fresh ingredient, don’t fall for the “bad customer service” trap because that’s the goto complaint of people who whine about the smallest inconveniences. If I say our frozen yogurt machine doesn’t work it’s because it doesn’t, I’m not an engineer who can fix it nor do I have a lamp into which I can wish to fix. Our waffle cones are extra and it’s on the menu, don’t get mad at us about the price, we didn’t put it. Go to head office and complain if paying an extra two dollars for a cone is somehow not letting you pay rent this month. We have a menu look over it and make smart decisions then being quick to complain over your own choices. I love Haagen Dazs if anything I hate the customers.

I usually love Haagen-Dazs, but this location was an absolute disaster. As soon as we walked in, the worker behind the counter had a visible attitude. I politely asked to try a flavor, and she acted like it was the biggest inconvenience in the world. When my friend asked about if there could be any substitutions for the milkshakes she responded with the same rude tone, like we were bothering her just by asking a basic question. The worst part was my friend ended up getting a milkshake, and within an hour he started feeling extremely sick. He threw up several times and felt terrible for the couple days. That’s unacceptable. Customer service was awful, and the product may have been unsafe. I’ve had great experiences at other Haagen-Dazs locations, but this one was completely horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone; go literally anywhere else.

How do I come in at 10:20 pm, 40 mins before closing, cashier having an attitude because we wanted milkshakes and then told us we don’t do milkshakes after 9:30. We should come in earlier if we wanted milkshakes, the location closes at 11 pm and it’s a Friday night. Young Hispanic cashier refused to make any milkshakes. And was having attitudes. Please explain how you close the milkshake machine an hour and half before closing.

September 3rd at around 5pm -5:10pm,

A poor lady infront of us was going through card reader issues with the register. One worker asked us if I was able to pay cash before making the order. So i understood and assume there was a card reader issue in the store. My gf and I had both had cash and card payment ready. We wanted to leave with our change and a receipt. While waiting, we were half way done with our order...We wanted to enjoy our order walking in the beautiful weather...Sadly, that didn't happened. I guess employees don't really care about customers' individual experiences... All the employees were giving me attitude as I was expressing how sad and upset i was waiting long for my change and a receipt..I finally received my change back from their TIP JAR.... I don't even know if i got the right amount of money back because they didn't ring up my order on the system. They were not giving me my receipt for the order. I left the store feeling really upset and stressed out..

If you are an owner or a manager reading this review, please look through your camera and double check if they even rang up my order after i left. I'm the customer who ordered one scoop on cone and this pineapple coconut shake..

Lord...

I ordered a icecream cake from this location for my wife birthday, I called them back because they didnt asks me did I want cookie crunch in the middle of my cake and they told me it was to late,I asked a manager can he cancel my order he said yes and he would call me back once the order was completely cancelled,He called me back 5 minutes later and said he couldn't cancel it,I asked him to have the store owner give me a call and after speaking with him I informed him that I wasnt asked if I want cookie crunch in the cake and he said his location never asks because noone once to pay the extra 5 dollars,I will never go to this location again because I had to keep the cake because they refuse to give me my money and to top it off the cake wasnt even the type of cake I ordered,if I could have gave them zero stars I would have,I will never go to this location again,Very bad customer service and they went so hard about not letting me cancel they should have at least got...
