They definitely need to work on their grilled toast game, as well as their "8 minute egg". First time around for the kimchee toast, there was just the faintest pair of light brown grill lines. Asked them to toast it more for us, and the best they could do is as shown in the pic, nor was the cheese gooey melted when pulled apart. :'( We also got a salmon avocado toast originally with the so-called 8-min egg, but when it was served to us it's yolk was clearly very hard-boiled, to the point where the ball had the distinct grey exterior, ha. They couldn't redo the egg for us as they were all prepped in advance for the day. -_- Kudos to the drink "bartender" for his chill attitude and putting up with our foodie complaints (which he totally understood), as well as good drinks (enjoyed my golden milk latte). Flavors of the food are fine, but you'd think the cooks in back could take more care, especially as there was no one else ordering at opening time except our group.

I usually give 4 stars ⭐️ or less to healthy food spots that offer salty food because many of us follow a low sodium 🧂 diet , while the chicken could use less salt, I still gave it 5 stars coz it’s not as salty as other places & DELISH! They have unique side options like bulgur that you don’t see in other places, dressing or sauces are yummy but could use less sodium. Try the hibiscus 🌺 drink 🥤 it’s so refreshing & the touch of honey 🍯 is perfect 👌. I’d def come back here for another bowl 🥣 , dump fast food & try this spot, there isn’t much difference in the price, I don’t understand why ppl would still eat fast food & not have a good healthy meal in a place this 🐝💛??

After discovering your menu online, I shared it with my co-workers. We decided to walk from 39th and 8th to your 22nd street location in 30 degree weather to only arrive to AMAZING Chai Lattes and exceptional customer service. We decided to order the menu as if it would be our last time. We left with more food than two people could eat. We find the food to be clean, healthy and nourishing to our body and soul. A must try and one thing we liked is combining the basil honey dressing with the spicy red vinaigrette. It tasted really good on the Carne Asada salad and was the perfect combination for the Wake & Steak bowl.

We went to this place this evening as a group of 5 members (FML course) for a get-together. It was not crowded, we chatted for a good 20 minutes before ordering food. I ate a sandwich and a snack as I was very hungry.

  1. Spicy tofu sandwich - I loved the spicy flavour of the moist sandwich and the fried tofu. Lipsmacking!
  2. Peanut Butter & Banana - I ordered this as I wanted to try something with honey. A whole scoop of in-house peanut butter and few pieces of cut banana with raw honey dressing. This was really heavy, was even difficult to chew at times with the banana, solidified honey, and the thick peanut butter becoming a clay-ey composite in the mouth. But the taste was overall sweet and good.

Beyond the food, I was impressed by the happiness exuded by the saleswoman/waiter there, the kindest and friendliest I've ever seen in this country. She was open to answering all my questions -- on size of sandwiches, on vegetarian options, honey-based food, on the make of peanut butter used, her observation of us searching for trash cans and her jokes about them being embedded in the wall and hard to find -- with great eagerness and...

Ordered coffee and a matcha tea. Both were too sweet. The iced coffee felt that my teeth were falling off with decay, the syrup game was too strong. Food dishes were ok with a fresh and healthy feel. All around there were signs posted to inform the staff of a food allergy. Did so, they checked with the cooks and gave me the ok food safe. However when I double checked my dish the crackers had sesame seeds embedded all over and some scattered on the food. Since this was take out and I trusted them I did not notice until I sat down to eat. Tried to eat around the seeds but still had a mild reaction later. Staff were pleasant but they seemed very flustered and overly worked at 2pm. The restaurant itself had very few customers...
