An awesome pizza spot in NYC!🗽🍕

Andiamo’s was close to our hotel (818 6th Avenue location) and did not disappoint!

Atmosphere: The space is small with limited seating (like most NYC restaurants) but had a warm and inviting atmosphere! When we were there, they constantly had people coming in to get their takeout orders. Service: The people who work here are so kind and quick to provide fresh menu items despite the busyness that they experience. Menu items: We ordered one pizza but wanted to try to different flavors: Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken. They were able to make the pizza with both flavors by splitting them on half of the pizza. Aside from pizza, they also serve appetizers, Italian dishes like Chicken Parmesan, sandwiches, and desserts!

This is the only place in the entire city that I would recommend people go to if they want an authentic New York pizza experience. The slices are massive (take-up-an-entire-plate HUGE), the sauce is zippy and flavourful, and the pepperoni is to die for. I would personally recommend a slice of the pepperoni and bacon, or the Sicilian deep dish. The workers are all very nice and service was quick and efficient. They also have a nice selection of cold drinks to get with your pizza. The joint was right across the street from our hotel so it was very convenient for us to grab a couple slices whenever we wanted. The best bonus is that the place is open late, which meant that we were able to get pizza at about 12:30 at night after catching Billy Joel at MSG. Adiamos pizza is usually tasty and decent service but this location on the corner or 22nd street next to McDonald’s just HAS TO BE THE WORSE of them all. Atmosphere seems very tense, the old man serving pizza is very nonchalant with some sort of chip on his shoulder. The 3 times I went in there this same man had a sour look on his face as if he doesn’t want to be there, he rushes you through your order and is very sassy. I gave him back the same cold shoulder so I ended up with a weird cut little itsy bitsy slice not worth $4 I think it was. For the service and portion size, that crap should be FREE and heaven help you if you should decide to stay and have your pizza. They watch you like a hawk as if you shouldn’t be there.
