Best service! Awesome Thai food! Update! After a year, and the new Location ,, still.. best Thai restaurant I have been to.. excellent food, fresh and also huge portions.. Here I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, Curry Puffs and Refreshing Large sized Thai Iced tea .. The restaurant is elegant and the waitresses are so well mannered and hesitate to bother you while you're eating but walk by with the intent for you to ask them what you need..I love coming here to get in my Good Zen, Peace and recoup from a hard day in this crazy city..also, there is an option to eat out on the open door Terrace..impeccable ..fresh flowers adorn the table for that breathe of fresh air feeling..keep up the great work! Delivery service has always been amazing as well.. Thanks for staying alive during the Pandemic! You want Good Thai food..this is most definitely your place to go On the Lower Eastside of Manhattan FIVE...

I ordered food, and the delivery guy has the nerve to call me asking if i have a tip for him! I told him you dont call and ask for a tip. You recieve it on delivery. He became upset with my response and said i am not delivering your food. So unnaceptable. Thats bad business.

To the owner of Hub Thai... re-read my comment. Never did I say I was not going to tip. What restaurant/employee calls the customer and asks "are you going to tip" ?? Tip is given when service is provided. It is sad that i have to explain that to you... a "business" owner.

I can imagine someone going into your restaurant and the first thing the waiter/waitress asks is "are you going to tip"

It is rediculous that you choose to defend the actions your restaurant took.

"Where are you from?" Very nice way to speak to your customers.

I will share this experience i had with your restaurant to everyone. Hub Thai =...

My neighborhood Thai place with curry. Because I didn’t know there’s some Thai places without curry.

They are a no fuss, low key, casual Thai eatery with your typical menu items. I stop here to order a quick dinner like my Panang curry (peanut curry) which has lots of left overs for me.

They cook quickly. The host is Thai, which is a must for me. I can’t stand when ethnic restaurants hire people who don’t even know the culture.

The interior is dark and casual. It seems they have too much furniture. If they had some re-arrangements, the restaurant would feel fresh and less tight. When you walk in it feels very claustrophobic immediately.

The only complaint I have is how much plastic they use. Plastic and heated foods are big toxic problems and proven poisons. I hope they find out one day how to handle takeout/delivery...
