A Cozy Hideaway with the Best Latte in the City
This café is a hidden gem in New York. Even though it’s small, the atmosphere is warm and charming, perfect for a breakfast break or a relaxing pause during the day. The highlight is definitely the latte—without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had in the city! When I visited, a barista with short hair prepared the coffee with such skill, I’m not sure if all the baristas there are as good as she is. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name. Cappuccino showed up in a tiny little paper cup. I had to wait for my avocado toast for 20 minutes and checked on it twice. The amount of time is ridiculous. It also cost me $19 for the coffee and the toast plus 20% tip, which in the hindsight I wish I’d taken back.
The worst thing is when it showed up they gave it to me in a plastic container as if I needed it to go. I asked if the order was mine bc I ordered “for here”. “This is how they all come now” they said. This is the overconsumption of plastic right there. Why not serve it on a paper plate?
Not...
