I cannot express how much the Ronald McDonald House has helped our family & our child. They make the most stressful part of your life as bearable as it can be when your child has a serious health problem. Everyone has always been incredibly nice, caring and empathetic.

They provide a great room, with 3 amazing free meals a day. Free Transportation. Snacks. Coffee. Free washer and dryer use. Soaps, shampoos, baby wipes.... Literally anything you could need. The volunteer staff will get it for you if they possibly can.

Even during covid, with all of the play areas & common areas closed, the staff hosted Zoom meetings with fun activities that my son - and the other kids - really enjoyed.

We love to help children, animals and our environment. When my husband’s car wouldn’t start after a week, he decided to donate to McDonald House and he said it is a good charity; I agreed. He had to call them everyday to arrange the pick up. It took 4 days to finally someone called back for a date/time. Now weeks after they picked up the car/title, we haven’t heard from them. I was waiting for a receipt, just a note that the charity received the car, nothing. I didn’t know what kind of people work for the organization, but the whole process wasn’t professional. We don’t need they thanked us. We hoped when they said someone would call back day after and then followed up so we didn’t have to keep calling. After they received the car, we would appreciate to receive a note saying they have it. That is all! My neighbor said donating a car is not worth the hassles from his experience.
