Iona — Restaurant in New York

Absolute disaster for all the neighbors near the patio. Loud screaming and yelling on the patio late into the night- and then a morning cleaning crew for the patio not even 8 hours later. Every. Single. Day. At first owners were attempting to “work with us,” on this- but absolutely nothing changed. 5 grand later and we’re now having to move- because of this bar. Good luck to all my kind neighbors that have to continue to deal with whatever it takes for these folks to make money- because that’s clearly all that matters. All you had to do was actually enforce respectful behavior...

I was here recently with a friend during Liberty playoffs and when we arrived all the TVs had baseball on. My friend, thinking there was no way they’d change one for us, asked the bartender if there was anywhere around showing the Liberty game. He immediately hopped to, got the game turned on for us, was extremely accommodating and kind when we thought we might get the side eye. Such sweet guys and they have old speckled hen on tap & walker’s crisps to boot. What’s not to love? Brought my friend from London the following week and we had a great time. Good...

Service is so great here. The vibe is casual and local. Nice place to hang out with friends especially in the backyard on nice evenings. People play ping pong there. It looks fun but I didn’t play.

Lots of local craft beers. But I love the aperol spritz the bar tender made for me. And there is a big jug of water where you can serve yourself so you don’t have to stand at the bar for water.

I came with 5 people and we found a nice table outside in the back. We had a great time....
