The hype is real! Everyone I spoke to recommended this spot and it did not disappoint. Matter of fact this is now on my favorites list.
Since school just started, I wanted to treat my kids and give them some positive motivation for the school year. I decided to go on a Sunday evening, the place had plenty of seating available and had a pleasant beautiful nautical theme.
My picky son ordered fries and hot wings. These hot wings were the best he has ever had. They were big, juicy, and fried just right. The fries were matched up with ketchup and their house hot sauce, the combo was mighty tasty.
I had the Caribbean style barbecue chicken with flat noodles. The noodles were nice and moist with a delicious smokey taste. The chicken tasted awesome with delicious char to it.
I tasted my other son's roasted pork platter. Plenty of pork and alot of flavor to boot. My daughter's jerk chicken was excellent for a non Jamaican spot. The rasta pasta was good, but her mom makes it a little better.
The waitress was very nice and attended to all our needs and food was delivered to all of us on time together. She gave us containers for the bountiful left overs which we took home to overload our taste buds one more time.
I will be revisiting this restaurant again and explore their other menu options. If you did not notice, we are in love with...
Read moreThe first time me and my family ate there was when we went bowling and the food was so good. After that day we started ordering take out and thats when it was always problems. The first time ordering take out they forgot a part of the order and my husband had to drive back 30 mins to pick it up. They gave us a free meal next time we ordered. Today we ordered again and I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken which shows on the menu with rice and my husband came back with small container with only chicken which she charged us $14 when the meal is 16 (large container including rice and plantain). When I called back she said that I had to make sure to say that I want rice. That doesnt make sense at all because the menu says Jamaican Jerk Chicken and the picture shows clearly with rice. On top of that if that is what she thought she as a worker should have verified with me if I wanted that with rice or not. I am just over them messing up our orders and I will not be eating there again. Very frustating
UPDATE: I spoke to Danny about the situation and he was very understanding and very nice....
Read moreI went out with my husband yesterday to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. First and foremost I could not believe the portion they gave us. It’s massive which is great. The wings and cha chi ki chicken and island twisted fries are the recommended dish for appetizer. Even with the appetizer you will be full. As for our entree we order fried rice with vegetables and jerk Rasta pasta. Macaroni Rasta pasta was very salty and so that was hard to eat. However, the jerk chicken was really good. Fried rice was also good. I was hoping to like the Rasta pasta but it was way too much cheese and salt. Dessert was amazing. The drinks are to die for. Overall, the experience was great and we had a lovely time. We will definitely come back again to...
