I was searching for kosher restaurants near our office for a meeting of 15+ people. I looked at various options and their reviews but was not content with the results given that we were looking for something aside sandwiches. I am glad I came across Jerusalem Cafe. I took the time to read the reviews as I usually do and although it had some bad reviews, their reasoning was a bit exaggerated to me. What is important to me is the customer service and if the price matches the quality of the food. Food will be pricey as most things are in NYC but I do not mind if the quality has to show for it. I gave them a call to understand their catering menu the day before. the gentleman was very polite and understanding and to my surprise I could order the next morning if I was not ready to do so, unlike most other places, need 24 hours in advance and for simple as sandwiches. I placed my order the next morning and was hoping the food was good given it was for a large quantity of team members and have never ordered Kosher Pizza nor pasta in the past. I was not disappointed. The team felt the same. I ordered the Pizza catering option #2 and #3, with Falafa, ceasar salad and Tanihi plus an order of pasta and a small fruit side. Will definitely be ordering from them again for our future meetings. Not to mentioned it is snowing with sleek rain today and the delivery guys walked with our food in this weather. I will say, they prefer you order online for deliveries vs calling to ensure the order is as you request it and for them to not make an error. Since you have to pay online, you also have to provide the tip online when you are cashing out. You cannot do like other places, add the tip when they take you the...

I have ordered from several restaurants who respects an ethical code and practice great customer service. Jersulem Cafe Staff DOES NOT, I repeat DOES NOT respect ethical codes or practice great customer service. I will tell my story. So my order started at Doordash. I added items from Jersulem Cafe menu to my order to be delivered the following day btwn a decent time frame before my meeting began. 1. My order was not delivered on time. When my order came and I saw what was delivered, i was shocked. 2. The doordash deliever guy explains to me that an associated saw my original bill, then she recalculated my receipt and made manual updates and that is why i received a slice of pizza instead of my whole pie. 3. I NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL EXPLAINING A CHANGE WAS MADE TO MY ORDER- pooooooor customer service. 4. I called Jerusalem Cafe in regards to my late, incorrect order that I DID NOT PLACE. the main representative ( the guy who ALWAYS answer the phone ) JUSTIFIES why he is RIGHT and WOULD NOT listen to what I was told. He THREATENS to HANG UP on me. Continues to speak over me and says "listen to me , listen to me , listen to me " in the midst of me explaining. He BLAMES doordash for his incorrect menu, when they are the ones who suppose to update the menu. He BLAMES the dasher for taking the wrong order, when it was an associate of JC who RECALCULATED my order total with out calling to confirm with me. and He tells me to listen to him justify that an order from door dash wasn't even placed. OMG TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! Just want to let you guys know what kind of service to expect when your order goes...

Food is really really delicious. I wish there was more seating downstairs versus me having to climb all the way upstairs. Don't know what that salad bar is all about I think they should put seating instead of that salad bar. The pizza was truly delicious, and the spicy fries was out of this world, solid stuff, loved the curled fries, have yet to see such fries elsewhere, and the regular fries were also deliciously tasting and crispy, they technically can give you a little bit of a bigger of portion when ordering a large fries. But was still satisfied as the fries were amazing.

Now I did come when it was a very busy time, was a little bit shocked to see that they weren't prepared for that amount of guest. They did need a few more maintaining the place, to help clean the tables and help make and prepare the food. But on an average week it's just perfect.

Prices are really good. Not to expensive. Very solid. Friendly staff and owner. While there is one thing that's a bit stupid in the store, is the overlook where all it takes is for a child to go over and you don't want to know what will happen. They need a fence or some gate there. Not a smart idea but looks nice.

One other suggestion is that they should add a few more chairs upstairs while there is so much tables and room to eat but no chairs.

If I had to rate the store from 1 to 10 would give it a 9 solid solid food and...

The worker at the pizza stand was rude and had an attitude. The place itself looks pretty new and they have an overall wide selection of cooked and baked food items. The prices are obviously high due to the fact that it’s New York City and it’s kosher. So for example one small cupcake costs 4.5$ dollars. One slice of pizza was 6$ if I’m remembering correctly. While sitting down to eat, someone entered the store and started to beg for money the workers there just watched him and did nothing to make him leave and stop harassing the customers.

It's a really beautiful new place the food is fresh and delicious very friendly and helpful staff reasonably-priced for Manhattan would definitely go back, just watch out on the second floor at the end that you shouldn't bump in your head in the ceiling.. Ps. I do wish that the frozen pizza would taste as good as the fresh ones... (I don't know if J2 Frozen Pizza is still the same now a day's but I know for sure that it used to be the same.)

Great food & professional staff! My wife had Jerusalem combo falafel platter & soup, which came with yummy garlic bread. I had an Impossible Burger and cheese fries. Delish! Then we topped it off with a generous scoop of mocha fudge ice cream, caramel sauce & banana. Very fair price for the quality of food!
